The Scott Report

I would imagine they do not. Busy people and all. Most have good luck with posting questions to their respective forums.

Wannabe are you still working out everyday? I can’t remember if you were doing the same muscles every day?
Scott

Yes. I plan to workout everyday and let life dictate when I can’t. Currently I haven’t worked out since Tuesday or Wednesday, can’t remember. Been having a lot of storms lately and have been working almost all hours of the day/night. Hoping to workout again tomorrow. Push pull legs…

So reading between the lines it sounds like life may get in the way of workouts quite often? How often would you say you go at least 2 full weeks of working the same muscle every day. This idea of working the same muscle every day fascinates me.
Scott

If you’re really fascinated in that, I’ve been doing that everyday for the past 4 months or so.

Most of the time I workout 7 days a week. It’s rare I ever miss 2 days in a row. Most of the time I just miss 1 when I do miss it.

How has that been working out for you? Whether that really works is all over the board. Some say you need a week between workouts and some do it everyday. It’s hard to figure ?

Remarkably well.

I guess your routine is on here somewhere ?
Scott

He, like you, has a training journal on here

I’m trying to find it? I went to his page but that was no help? Lots of statistics ? This site is too hard to figure out.

So how do I find his training journal or anyone else’s for that matter? I just scrolled down 30 or more of these and no luck??
Scott

Go to the training journal page and just scroll. You can also click on the users name and look where they post. The site is pretty easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. I could link his journal if you like. I just figured you finding it on your own would help you not only see other journals, but to aid in learning the forum.

I just spent minutes scrolling and looking for him but I’ll try it again . This site is very frustrating .

Here

I saw this but I never would have thought your routine was in this? I am definitely not used to this site. Thanks!
Scott

Is anyone on this training log doing 30 10 30?
Scott

Doubtful. I think I’ve seen one or two people use some of his methods, but that’s it. I might be missing it but who knows.

The Darden followers seem to seclude themselves to JUST that forum. Be nice if y’all came out and played more often. Maybe more will start a training journal and we can get more glimpses into his training style and progress.

After reading a bunch of these training logs it seems a lot of these guys training logs are about as far from a Darden or Jones type training as you can get and worst of all it seems to be as much of a social club as anything. Lots of talk about what someone is having for lunch as much as why strict curls vrs cheat curls ? I don’t see much discussion of the science of the chosen routines listed or anything to provoke some thought?

I agree. I’d also bet a dollar that 90%+ of people who work out have never heard of darden or if they have, do not use his methods. I scour all kinds of lifting forums, articles, videos etc… and when y’all came here it was the first I’d ever heard of it.

Well yea… what’s wrong with some friendly banter and wide chat? It’s a forum where people come together and talk. Sure, some journals are nothing but what they did in the gym and zero commentary, but most seem to enjoy the discussions gained from posters.

I mean… I honestly don’t know what to say to this lol. Maybe you should go find some big guys on here (one monster even posted in here and linked his journal for you…)

For me it’s pretty simple. Lift heavy shit lots of times and make it really hard :joy: if you see something I. A journal and want to know the whys and how’s… just ask.
