Ok but Grny admit it
Butter
Plus
Peanut butter
equals win.
As does butter plus sugar.
I mean, not that I eat that… but um, you know… alternate universe.
Fuck I’m so hungry.
There’s this fat asshole at my old gym named Reuben… so, they call him sammich. Motherfucker is such a cunt it’s beyond belief.
That guy pisses me off.
The deli back home made “the hungryman”
4 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese on a hero. Fucking incredible for a hangover.
Olive oil toasted Panini with turkey, cranberry, pesto, cherry tomato and gruyere or emmental cheese…drool.
EDIT. I mean it makes me drool…not drool is an ingredient of this sammich.
Whole wheat bread, toasted
Thin slice of swiss, melted
turkey
sliced pear dusted with cayenne pepper.
FIN!

It dosn’t get any better than this. If your in philly got to the Reading Terminal market and get a Roast Pork with sharp provalone and either broccolli or spinach, it will change you life. Then go to Termini Bros and get a canoli.
Your welcome

Ooooh yeah, baby. Talk dirty…

Torta de Mexicana
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate. Season steak with garlic salt, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne pepper.
Grill steak on the preheated grill until medium-rare, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from heat to a cutting board and cover with foil.
Set a large skillet over medium-high heat. Spread both halves of each roll with mayonnaise. Brown the rolls, mayonnaise-side down until golden, about 3 minutes. Warm the refried bean in a bowl in the microwave, about 1 minute on High, and slice the sirloin steak into thin strips.
Spread a thin layer of beans on the bottom half of each roll, layer with steak, avocado, tomato, and lettuce. Top with cheese, if desired, and close the sandwich with the top of the roll.
Save it for a day and it’s shit. But fresh of the grill…mmmmm…
Ezekiel bread, almond butter, and turkey bacon ![]()

I made one once, and it was one of my crowning achievements. Whenever I make it to Pittsburgh I’ll be getting a few of these.

only go to the original downtown location
Hot beef stottie!
Cue no one knowing what a stottie is!
My local place does a mixed grill half stottie, they used to have a deal where if you could eat a whole stottie (a doughy flat bread about 3 inch thick and 12-14 inch wide) with ‘the mixed grill’ in you got it for free. Me and the local rugby no 8 used to go every Friday and get us a free sammich!
Contains :
2 fried egg, 4 rashers bacon, 4 pork sausages, lettus, chicken and optional cheese. (double it for the whole stottie challenge)
Also subway meatball with BBQ and all the salad = winning

This just happened…
Open face ahi tuna sammy
Ahi Tuna Steak-cooked medium rare
Oyster Sauce + Greek Yogurt mix
Shredded Carrots
Lettuce
Tomato

Ok, I will have to go with a Jibarito Sammich, pronounced HEEBAREETOW pheonetically for all my English speakers.
Contents
Instead of two pieces of bread it has two big fried plantains used instead of the bread
Flank steak in the middle
cheese
lettuce
tomato
onion
mayo
served with a side or rice.
It is the most fattening, best tasting sammich ever, I encourage any of you that have a puerto rican/cuban/dominican restaurant in your area to have one, that is if they make, a Mexican spot wont make this.
[/quote]
Do they mash the plantains and then bread 'em before frying? That looks killer.

You actually mash them as you are cooking, right before they get hard, you flatten them, you will take 2 plantains put them side by side when there both slightly cooked press them down and then continue to fry them. Sometimes one plantain is enough, depends how big you want the sammich.

That’s what she said.

I’ma have to try that, sounds awesome. Don’t know if this is sacreligious to a Cuban, but you ever do tortas? If you’re ever in Houston go to torta de angel. Best tortas you’ll ever eat, and the only two available sizes are regular and gigante. The gigante is the size of an infant. I ate a “California” gigante wich is 2 breaded and fried chicken breasts, lettuce, tomato, mayo, refried beans, avacodo and some other stuff. I swear that thing has at least 2,500 cals in it. Thought I was gonna shit myself halfway through it.
