(Briefly considered posting this in “Supplements and Nutrition”, but “Nutrition” is a bit of a stretch here)
Ever have a burger suitable for consumption by the pantheon of Greek Deities? A burger whose overall juiciness, succulence and general awesome-osity builds on the bite preceding it, eventually escalating into a crescendo of burger-tasticness?
Or maybe just one that was really fucking good?
Post pics.
I’ve been to a ton of premium burger joints around the US and Canada, and the best I’ve had anywhere is “Chuck’s”, located on Locke St. in Hamilton, ON. It blows anything Toronto has to offer completely out of the water. If you go for lunch, get there around 11ish, as there is a line out the door by noon.
Pictured is the “Cuban Burger” - Grade A Canadian beef ground in-house, a fried egg, a slab of peameal bacon, and Jensen cheddar. Even the fries are world class
The next runner-up for me is at “Hrvati”, a Croatian-themed beer hall that for some reason is situated in the middle of Koreatown in Toronto.
They use grass-fed beef, and their burger has smoked mozzarella and carmelized onions. The bun is really unique as well, they use a lot of egg in the baking which gives it a slightly chewy consistency, and when this soaks up the grease from the beef it tastes phenomenal.

4x4 from In N Out…The king of all fast food burgers. Though, for this meal, the 4x4 wasn’t enough, so I added a Double Double to the mix :)[/quote]

Speaking of Korea town, when I feel like nerding it up I go to the cafe Snakes and Lattes.
It’s a cafe with 2,208 board games. It open until 3am every night.
