you got somethin’ against owen?

Now, I’ve heard things about Georgia before, but I’d always dismissed them as exaggeration…
shoot - in west virginnie they don’t have family trees, they got family vines…

These details might just be important.

Well, you know, they did film “Deliverance” there. But that was at least 2 hours from where I used to live…

Well, did you know that the ‘toothbrush’ was invented there?
If it was invented anywhere else, it would have been called a teethbrush.

Easy on us rural Southerners… But I have to admit that is funny as hell!!

When you only have 1 tooth left, you best take care of it!
Makes sense, though…since Coke (Coca-Cola) comes from GA. For that matter, Pepsi is from NC.
Fried everything and Cola. Man I love the South!

It’s okay j-willy. They’re just jealous…
Not likin’ today’s article. The only time you trash a competitor like that is when your own game ain’t good enough in some respect.
you know, TC gets a little possessive about their supps, and a bunch of people thought the I, Bodybuilder preview was just to hype Anaconda. Got a little defensive is all.
I think what the program is going to say is that in order to get the great muscle gains, you need to lift some pretty heavy weights first, to get the CNS all excited. That’s what it sounds like anyways.

Yeah - I don’t expect anything really new to come out of the program side of things. People have been doing this shit and writing about it for more than a century. Just about everything has been tried and written about at least once.
And one has to always measure supplement cost against efficacy. Something may be a great supplement, but if the cost is really high and you can get most of the desired effect from something cheaper you naturally make the decision to save some money. If you are an elite-level competitor in a strength sport and the supplement will give the edge you need to win, then you will likely consider the cost worth it and buy the stuff.

Yup. The only thing I’m really interested in from that whole shebang is the change to morning carbs/evening fats to increase insulin sensitivity.
Then again, I was reading over on Tate’s site about megadoses of dessicated liver pills and that’s got me interested too. Though at the amounts they suggest (about 50 per day), it’d run about $6 every two days.

Dead Bench from the chest.
Barx15
135x5
185x3
205x3
225x1
245x1
255 1x3 sets (+10 Lbs and not too hard)
230x4+1 (rp) (same weight and reps as last time and still not too easy)
Front squats from pins
135x3
165x2
190x2
220x2
245x1 Pretty easy
255x0,0 just not feeling right
250x1,0 (PR +5 lbs) first pretty easy, second went wonky
220x3+2 (rp)
Body positioning is very important as to whether I get the rep or not. Looks like I’m still dialing it in…
Pendlay Rows
185x5
255 5x2 sets (PR +1 set)
I’m feeling stretched out. Think it’s time for a couple/three easy sessions. I’ve gone through three lifting cycles with this scheme so I’m due for an easy cycle. Appetite is down today, had to force breakfast down which is the usual sign I’m due for a rest.

I figgered since I’m only going up by 2.5 to 5 lbs per lift it would get pretty tedious to have a video for every one of these - all of them looking the same as the 2.5 to 5 lbs before. I’m planning on vidding every 25 lb gain or so.
Plus…my camera is in the truck my wife takes to work. The dog ate the battery and my hand is numb so I can’t work the camera.
Ignore the fact that I don’t have a dog, k?
re: video.
I spend so much time post-processing, it takes up too much time. I’ve decide to vid max/near-max attempts for stuff or if I really think my form is going to the crappah.

You may still be dialing it in, but you definitely aren’t phoning it in! Great work, DCA!
