I don’t see the problem. Anyone who has the potential to be a great bodybuilder will know it within their first couple years of lifting, and the ones who don’t really have the potential, but wants it bad enough, is going to do the research, do the drugs, and eat the food required to get big.

So who are you making the thread for? The number of views is not indicative of a whole bunch of newbs being enlightened as to the realities of bodybuilding, it’s due to people coming in to:

 1. Professor X bash.
 2. For the entertainment value of watching PX get bashed.

… and it’s the same people again and again, isn’t it…

btw not trying to be a dick, that’s just the reality of the situation as I see it.
Well I’ll be dammed…another newb with less than 30 posts who “just doesn’t why people don’t like X??”

Hint - I goes back a long way Purple bro.
New account since I forgot the password to my old one. Been around for years though.

I understand why people don’t like him… I also understand he has a lot to offer from the perspective of a young skinny dude wanting to be big, and I would listen to him if I was in that boat. I just don’t understand why he keeps making these threads when they all play out exactly the same. Again, the number of views is due to the drama, not because it’s a good thread.
It didn’t play out the same.

I directly addressed a lot of false information being spread by some members here.

These same people can bitch all they want and call me any names they want…it just means more people will read what I write.

Ah… I get what it’s about now. Attention.

Well then it’s all good, haters get to hate, and you get your audience. No haters = thread would have crickets chirping.

At risk of reopening the mess that this thread was (and I know that I’m going to regret even chiming in), I must have missed where X “addressed a lot of false information being spread by some members here”.

What I saw was a lot of people who seem to be doing fine in their own progress, giving examples of various individuals (Pros, athletes) who use different approaches, yet none of the “all big guys” really doing the same thing. I also saw a few really bright guys actually get all science in discussing matters, yet being polite, while one poster flip-flopped from what everyone thought was his initial stance. (I’m still fuzzy on what that original stance was, as he never really said anything concrete until other people chimed in with their opinions.)

Nowhere did I see millions of people saved from all the horrible misinformation being shared though.

LOL. It wasn’t a mess. There are 20 pages of discussion here where even TC contributed. I would like to see him respond to the question he was asked by the other poster.

Also:
ryanbCXG wrote:

TC the writer from here has labs to back up that yes “healthy” 6 meals and lifting can lead to pre diabetes.
Just one of the many points covered.

There is no evidence of this leading to prediabetes…and excuse us all if you see no value, Stu, in discussing these issues that are being spread across websites like the fear of diabetes from misapplying data seen in studies done on obese people who don’t exercise.

Clearly this won’t help anyone.

I think we spent several pages in this thread discussing that the number itself isn’t the issue, but if your goal is to one day carry enough muscle mass for people to gawk at, this was a look at what that lifestyle takes long term.
Then name your threads “Lifestyles of the big and the famous” and they will have much less tendency talking about meal frequency.

I’m all for promoting discipline and dedication that produces real transformations in people’s bodies. But I’d much rather show newbs how to measure what they eat, so that they know where they’re at and add more food as necessary. That’s the cornerstone of muscle nutrition. If you know how much you eat every day, then you know for sure how to add more. Just like adding more weight to the bar to get stronger. That’s discipline. PRODUCTIVE discipline.
After that, it doesn’t matter how you break it down by meals. Because as long as the kcals and macros are good - it’s good. That’s where the focus should be - a simple, singleminded focus on whats money. How many meals it takes is best left to personal preference. One day it’s 3, the other day it’s 5. Irrelevant. Macros, check? Calories, check? Done.

Some things the big guys do right, some things they do wrong, but get big anyway. Just as most successful people at anything. Nothing wrong with that.

X, how many grams of protein and calories are you eating at the moment?

Great post!

Pretty much nailed it here but the issue is, in order to do what you described you actually need to track your food and the LBEB/eat moar crowd doesn’t do that. They “know roughly” how much cause they “pretty much eat the same things all the time.”

Hey, just counting the number of burgers and pizza slices is better than not counting them. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m fairly certain that the premise of inactive and overweight people’s possible poor insulin sensitivity was offered as an extreme alternative to your “this is how all the big guys got huge” position. While it is entirely possible, I really don’t think anyone needed you to save them from this information though. In fact, if you hadn’t taken such a black and white stance, it most likely wouldn’t have come up in possibly (I assume) unintentional extreme terms.

While I know you think you’re helping the masses, to my untrained eye ‘clearly’ the fact that your posts seem to be taking so long to show lately must be because the admins are trying to stifle your constant attempts at sharing the “truth” and in no way reflect a pattern of your turning every thread into a fight.
