The Rule: 6 Meals/Day

Bauber looking absolutely huge, but I think you’d need more than 6 weeks to get into contest shape from those pics. Why don’t you do a cut now? It really can’t hurt your progress imo. I’ve found the whole “more you do something the better you get at it” principle applies to dieting.

I could not agree more with you. Dieting definitely gets “easier” the more you do it. Basically I just need to get off my ass and do it. And stop making excuses and start and find a trainer asap.

Stu who would you recommend? I would love to have someone local, but in my area I think that is just not going to happen sadly. And just curious but do you do diets and such for people? Just curious.

Stu-Bauber 2014

you will eat poptarts, lose fat, and keep muscle

Do it. Do it today

And I was going to compete in May of 2012, but dropped out of both shows as my fiance passed 5 weeks before the first one and my head wasn’t there. This was about 6 weeks out.
Damn! This is a sick shot. You look awesome hahaha

What’re you currently working on? Gaining size? Losing some fluff?

I know a good coach who could probably get you shredded. I don’t want to mention any names but it rhymes with “The Fighty Shrew”

Stu-Bauber for Prez.

Professor, have you ever experimented with any mountain dog shoulder stuff? It’s helped me a lot so far with lagging medial and rear delts. It could be something that you might find beneficial. It’s also nice to give the joints a break from pressing.

Just a thought.

Anyway… Back to the topic at hand: meals a day.

What’s a day in the life in the kithen of professor x look like? Are you in the cultivating mass phase? Recomp? Lean out?
If you could give examples of each and talk about the differing strategies you use depending on the goal at the time that would be cool.

Besides Stu, I recommend Shelby. He also knows a thing or two about optimizing creatine use.

Thanks that shot is more sentimental to me than most other pictures. Was the last picture taken by my fiance of me before she died. She took all my pictures, cooked my meals, did everything.

Right now I am just working on maintaining my size while dropping some BF slowly and bringing up a few spots I feel need work. Still trying to get everything down and take on all that she did for me. You never really realize what all someone does until they are gone, fully.

Front delts look like tumors in that pic… good work.

I appreciate that man. It took me a long time to heal enough to move enough weight to really blow them back up. I actually may train them less going forward than twice a week.

Please explain what this has to do with anything outside of specifically talking about contest prep?

Most of the people here are not trying to compete. They are looking to gain muscle and get lean or whatever to varying degrees.

What Majin wrote was correct, Bauber gets NONE of the criticism that I have gotten when leaner than him.

It simply means none of that criticism was legit since you can’t remain constant. Quite the character flaw…blatant hypocrisy.

when someones a dick to people for long enough then they will start pointing out there flaws…simple.

i think we all know bauber is carrying a good amount of fat. but bauber is also humble, polite and generally helpful. he also doesnt bring himself up as an example constantly in arguments then bitch if someone dares critique him.

i seriously encourage you to go to another serious weightlifting website and post the way you do here. id give it 3-5 days and you will have either been laughed off or banned. its only tnation that seems to just accept your arrogance, disrespect-fullness and undeserved sense of superiority.

Yeah, this would be bullshit. I honestly don’t care if you or anyone else doesn’t like me.

What perplexes me is the effort you all put into shouting me down.

If I was really typing such useless words on the screen, you wouldn’t have to tell people not to listen to me. They simply wouldn’t listen to me.

It comes across like jealousy and butthurt…because you won’t see me spending my time worrying about what you type.

This thread was meant to help people…and judging by the responses, it did that to some degree.

If you or anyone else is trying to stop things like that, check yourself.

Posts like your own are what we need less of here.

I’m here to discuss how to get muscular with people with that same goal.

I couldn’t care less if you personally don’t like me. Put me on ignore and save the rest of us the whining.

Bauber, I would recommend Shelby. He’s done an awesome job bringing people “dialed in” for shows - so has JM. They also have a better understanding of guys who are on. If the coach who worked with you was used to 150 - 200lb’ers he more than likely in the natural realm (guessing of course). I imagine you can play different games.

I would definitely recommend giving plenty of time to come in for a show. You could very well do some amazing things if you get to that level of shredded.

Eats all day long.

There may be something to that.
Professor X wrote:

Clearly too fat to ever discuss losing body fat or gaining muscle.
There are fat people who know what they’re talking about, so this has nothing to do with who is good for advice. Actually there has been plenty a men in bodybuilding history who didn’t look so good but knew or know how to coach.

Bauber is leaner than you though.

Yeah, it’s not always easy finding someone who really knows what they’re doing, or even with the right attitude and ‘bedside manner’ living nearby.

Shoot me an email through my web site (don’t wanna shamelessly ply anything here), and we’ll chat if you want.

X, speaking of “butt hurt”, it seems you get “butt hurt” at stuff that is simply a part of living life. You are shocked that SOME people don’t like what you have to say SOME of the time, as if it’s something out of the ordinary for most grown men… especially for those who talk a lot. Not everyone will like what you have to say all of the time. It’s like that for me, and every other man who steps foot outside of his home and deals with people, unless they are a total sap!

So I ask, what is so shocking about people not liking what you have to offer or say all the time? Secondly, who the hell are you that you have to be treated with exceeding ingratiation?

You are a 250 to 300 pound (lost track of your weight monitoring) CONFRONTATIONAL and highly opinionated man who has to be handled with kid gloves.

Have you ever dealt with the public at large? Do you like how everyone looks and behaves or what they say? If not, how do you get over it?
