The Return of Even More Movies You've Watched This Week III

Started re-watching X-Men on Disney+. “I go where I wanna go” - Wolverine. FUCK YA SON!

S2 is a little over the top IMO but enjoyable. I liked S1 very much, I liked S2 not as much - I’m looking forward to S3

It’s much better than ANYONE thought it would be. I was reluctant myself about watching, just like everyone I know who watched it (or haven’t yet).
I agree with polo77j, S2 isn’t as good but still good.

At first I thought you were telling me to let it go with my paranoid fantasies. Then I realized “Let it Go”

Charlie’s Angels

This isn’t a movie. It’s a propaganda piece. Which I would have been fine with if it were entertaining or at least competantly made. Even the CCP hires talented filmmakers for their movies. This fails on every single level, even as a piece of propaganda. There is literally nothing in it that doesn’t fail. It even fails at being bad enough to be good. 0/10.

Propaganda for what?

Two big thumbs up for The Joker. Just got back from post-movie dinner at Outback Steakhouse. Really enjoyed the film and Joaquin Phoenix’s performance.

The wife and I got high as giraffe ass last night and watched Universal Soldier for the first time in many, many years. It was everything I could have asked for.

Whatever Hollywood is trying to pass off as “feminism” nowadays.

I watched the Joker yesterday and found it to be a very powerful piece.

I had the good fortune of running into a friend from the US who caught it and as we were surrounded by my other Swedish friends we came to realise in unison that the New York 80’s crime wave will be a context lost on a tremendously large viewership.

The amount of conspiracy-theory level ‘everything is sjw propoganda’ is strong with this thread :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways, I finally saw JoJo Rabbit the other night. Taika continues to be able to do no wrong, it seems. One of his best.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse - Phenomenal movie. The whole feel of the movie was joyous and fun. 10/10

John Wick 3: Maybe my least favorite of the 3 movies. I thought some of the later fight scenes were too long by 50%. 7/10

Eh I’m finding Disney+ to be over hyped

It bombed in the U.S. This weekend with a 8 million dollar haul.

Possibly, but I wouldn’t have ever got Hulu without it, and I therefore would never have discovered Letterkenny. It’s the best comedy show I’ve ever watched.

Yeah … Hulu I like.

I laughed my ass off on this…
