The trailer for that actually looks really really good :-). I’d like to go and see it, but I can’t establish if it is being released in UK cinemas or now. I will have to keep an eye open for it lol

Part 1 was really good. It’s about different characters but you’ll love it if you’re a fan of HK cinema. You can probably stream it online.

not sure how people liked this so much. I loved the first two, but man this is just straight action front to back. After 15min of overload you kinda just get tired of it all. The K9 scenes were the best part, everything else was pretty meh.
Very disappointed.

I was prepared for a mediocre movie without Bryan Singer directing. I regret nothing. It’s not Captain Marvel level of bad.
So X-people wasn’t as bad as people are saying?
It’s really bad. Maybe even worse than X3. People probably aren’t giving it a pass because of the lack of SJW nonsense.
Well Netflix has green lighted a 5th season of Lucifer.

Bad Times at the El Royale
I really liked this movie right up until Chris Hemsworth’s character showed up. It seemed like a nice taut thriller, but then they went with a few too many plot twists, and it just got messy and stupid at the end.
Still worth a watch IMO.

Re-watched the first Austin Powers. I don’t think it aged well at all. Other than some of the most quotable lines (like Dr. Evil’s autobiographical monologue), it felt corny and less like a deliberate caricature.
Re-watched Clue. Legit classic. The cast, the writing, the performances (over the top like Curry and subtle like Mull) just hit every nail on every head. Easily in my Top 10 movies of all-time. I remember seeing it in theaters, so that might be a factor, but still.

I have been avoiding this thread until I finally binged season 4…
Something about the way they do the makeup on Lauren German in the show makes her look…not as good as she looks in real life…for some reason. Funny stuff in that clip ^^ -“Maze” is frickin’ hilarious.

This may have already been covered further up the thread, but has anyone seen Dark Phoenix yet? Every single trailer I’ve seen has looked dreadful but morbid curiosity has almost gotten the better of me…
