I liked the one where the WW2 Russian soldiers fight what appear to be demons from another dimensions.

This is basically a great horror series from HBO. Excellent nightmare fuel for those that are squeamish. It’s very meticulously based on actual events so that means that all horrid scenes in the series actually happened, including the Chernobyl Bridge of Death.
I want to watch this series and have a buddy who’s been watching who has similar entertainment tastes with me and he’s had reviews that whet my appetite for the show…

There’s a new Terminator movie coming out, literally just saw the first advert for it about 3 minutes ago. I don’t even care if it sucks, I’ll still watch it, haha.

John Wick 3
This movie is fucking awesome. The “action set pieces” (new industry term I recently learned LOL), weapons, and enemies are varied and imaginative enough to keep things interesting through what is almost a continuous 2 hr fight scene. I don’t know how the writers have managed to keep this series fresh for 3 whole movies now, but this third installment is really impressive.
That said, with the long takes you can really see a lot of gaps in the fight choreography where Keanu’s “selling” of the hand-to-hand action just wasn’t tight enough to escape notice. This is especially evident in the last fight with the guys from The Raid. However, I’d prefer that to shaky-cam bullshit that most movies resort to now.
Halle Berry did a decent job. Her dogs were AWESOME.
