So I went to the gym twice in a 12 hour period without sleeping. I have been up for over 24 hours.
I’m sore from 3 days ago. I hate insomnia. I’m tired. My entire body is sore.
UPPER BODY PUSH-

push ups-10, 10
standing push press(from pins)- barx5, 65x5, 95x7, 105x6, 115x3, 125x1, 125x1fail, 95x6
overhead DB press- 35x9x2(20lb drop set), 40x7x2(30lb drop set)
weighted dips-+25lb platex5,5,5
ez bar 21s- 45x3sets

walked on the treadmil on an incline for a few minutes.
that’s it.

could be since I started taking creatine again as well as Jack3d…who knows. I don’t usually credit gains to any of that stuff.

No gym today. Taking the day off. I slept for 16 hours straight. that was fun. I didn’t really want to get out of bed, so I didn’t until about 7pm…
I might go running later. I’m so lazy. uhg.
Diet/cutting starts SOON. can I do it?
I’m gonna need serious help and motivation from you ladies, because I sure don’t have any will power.

Umm. Maybe don’t look to me for willpower regarding diet.

M-in-MD is disciplined. And of course Kimba.

My method is diet strictly during the week and allow myself to eat more normally at weekends (and yes that does include some treats). That way I stay sane.
The weekday diet is tough though - I usually just have whey protein and cans of tuna with olive oil and vinegar. Maybe some green veggies. Oh and lots of tea. Must have my tea.

dieting sucks ass! BLAH!!! the snoozing sounds wonderful, NICE!

I’m no where as lean as you are Mel. I’m all for balance : like balancing a glass of wine in each hand (bad frenchy).

I’m going to be in it with you (I have about a month of bad eats to reverse) so I’ll be following along and cheering on the sidelines. You have army food to contend with – I’ll have family food, which is tastier but no less deadly.

your in the friggin Army, Mel! you can handle a little dieting I’m sure. It sucks, but the pain is only temporary :wink:

Cal- I think I’m going to have to stock up on tuna, and some vinegar with that sounds nice. And i drink at least 3 cups of tea a day! I would go crazy if I didn’t have it! I ask for it with every care package I get!!

snapper+brute- I hate dieting, and have no will power, and reallllly like cookies, and muffins. mmmmm

nlmain- I’m all about that kind of balance as well. As soon as I get back I will see how many balanced shots of vodka I can handle in my tummy at one time. Due to excess calories, I will now be chasing my vodka with water. Juice is out.

Alisa- Glad we’re in this together. I’m going to have to do the best I can with chow hall food. It’s a little difficult. esp since I don’t sleep at normal times.

MiM- The food is bad enough! And I am really bad at dieting. uhg. grrrr. I know if I actually buckle down I will like how I look at the end!

Good news, the wife has decided that she is going to be in this with me. We made a deal that as long as I plan out her diet and meals and training/cardio routine, and tell her what to eat, that she will go to the grocery store and buy all the food and do this diet with me. Lucky for her, she will have better food and more options. Lucky… But I’m excited about it. She wants to lose 10 pounds.
Should I tell her she has to stop drinking? idk. that won’t happen anyways.

welll. Gym time soon. lots of cardio must be done today. I can only see 4 abs. NOT GOOD NOT GOOD. grrrrr.
I’m pissed though, I took a day off, and my fucking traps and lower back are STILL SORE. WTF?

that’s awesome your wife is in on the horror too! it make sit much easier to have commiserates while dieting and stuff.

You live quite a nutty lifestyle over there. No sleeping, massive training (that’s ridiculously good), then sleeping a whole bunch…how do you do it?

Creatine huh? Interesting. I’m always interesting in seeing how creatine works with women. Let us know.

I also hate dieting, but quite like looking lean :slight_smile: Unfortunately I have bad will power too and I vacillate b/w being really good and then hard core binging (and I don’t purge, fortunately or not, whatever). But i try to keep my head about me when I slide, I call it my “refeed”…er…don’t judge.

Great idea to get your girl on the healthy eats too!! That will make life soooo much easier. Plus you can experiment and stuff, should be fun.
