Smolov is clearly keeping you off the streets and out of trouble. :)
Ha, ironically something about Smolov is causing a serious spike in my, at least from my preception, test levels. So I’m not all that far from trouble at any time.
Strangely though I have been enjoying Smolov so far.

How are the joints holding up with all the squatting benching? Has the relatively light weight help keep any tendonitis issues in check?
The light part is only during the switching(two weeks) and it is sandwiched inbetween the heavy weeks.
So far my joints feel great. I wear elbow sleeves on the rep benching as a preventitive measure but otherwise all is golden.
Really pretty tired. I forgot my gym clothes so I had to go to the campus bookstore and bought a pair of basketball shorts, that my grandfather would have said were slicker than goose shit, and wore an Elitefts tank I had in my office for an emergency. It felt like my ass was sliding all over the bench.
Thanks James, next week starts the rough stretch so we’ll see how it goes.
Smolov Switching Phase
Week 2 Day 1
12" Box Squats
Warm Ups
10x135
5x185
Working Sets
12x2x215
Smolov Jr Bench Cycle
Warm Ups
8x135
5x185
Working Sets
6x6x200
Today was really rather boring and because of that my concentration wasn’t so great. I might have been rocking on the last couple of sets of box squats.

Any suggestions on peaking programs around 8 weeks in length? I’ll have about that long between the end of Smolov and nats.
Paul Carter’s Strong 15 it has a minicycle approach for each of your attempts…
