If you do that same t-bar weight next time, I bet the reps are less ugly.
I found I had to do them holding the bar directly as the handles on the v-bar grip would rotate on the handle.
Hmmm…never had a problem with the v-bar. Holding the bar sounds awkward.
I’ll be doing some t-bars tonight
I also use the close grip v-bar, but recently saw something about using a towel with neutral grip to save on shoulders and improve grip, may try that one soon.
Could have gotten a couple more reps on the money set but wasn’t getting my hips low enough so I called it a day. next week the money set is 340 and I’m not sure I’ve ever really repped that before. Should be interesting.
Now for the stupidity. After I finished lifting I sat down to remove my knee sleeves. Then it seems I was so tired that I stripped off my shorts and pulled my sweats out of my gym bag and dressed right there infront of the rack.
I had boxer briefs on so it wasn’t NC-17, only R rated but still not my smoothest move. Really embarassing.

I’m pretty sure somebody saw it. Hopefully thats my dumbass move for the rest of the year.
That just shows you’re comfortable in the gym…or you spend too much time there…that’s a great story and as long as you’re wearing boxers then no harm/no foul.

I think I didn’t warm up enough and that effect my form on the money set. On the other hand my singles looked pretty good so I might be hitting a weight PR soon.

I saw several men strip down to their skivvies in the warmup room at worlds. Didn’t seem like a big deal. But in a commercial gym . . .
On Saturdays outside of the club me my training partner and some clients who are good shape go through a 1.5 hr conditioning session. With tire flipping, kbell work, sledghammer, partner carry’s, sled runs, weighted vest work etc…
Well one day after a grueling circuit of these exercises in the beautiful month of November (45% outside) I could not get cooler. So off comes the sweatshirt–nope-off comes t-shirt-nope still hot and my brain is non-functioning so I decide to go down tgo my compression shorts and lay on the asphalt. Mind you I am in full view of the training center… That was good for a lot of laughs.
No worries brother, your not alone in the " I just-went-down-to-my-skivvies-in-public-club"
