If we get enough people who say this candidate is too conservative, or that candidate is not conservative enough, or the other candidate is a fake…then we get Hillary Clinton…President Hillary Clinton.
This is not brain surgery, we either elect a democrat or a republican this November. My first choice, Marco Rubio is stuck in third place for the time being. Should he stay in third and say Ted Cruz capture the nomination I would be fine with that. I’m not as fine with Donald Trump (obviously) but then again I am not at all fine with Hillary Clinton continuing to allow Planned Parenthood to kill babies and then sell their parts. And putting Supreme Court justices on the bench that might take away my right to carry a gun, or perhaps even take away my right to free speech (we are closer than you think to that with PC). Nor do I like the idea of her raising my taxes yet again (Obama did it multiple times in multiple ways). But of course Romney was not conservative enough was he? No…so we have Sotomayor leading baby killer and staunch advocate of more gun control…Not to mention multiple left wing loons on lower courts. All because Romney just was not conservative enough…Pure idiocy!
So, no I don’t like Trump but at least he says that he will not do the things that Hillary Clinton assures us that she will do (some need to reread that sentence). And should Trump and Hillary be our nominee’s I have no choice but to vote for someone who at least says he will do the right things. Should he end up being a liar with some or all of his promises there will be someone stepping up to primary him and he will not be reelected under the republican banner.
And those who do not think that a sitting President can be challenged only need look at history. Jimmy Carter blamed his defeat to Ronald Reagan in 1980 on the fact that Ted Kennedy took him through the primary process… And so it was with Gerald Ford, a sitting President who was challenged by Ronald Reagan in 1976. Ford may have won the primary but lost to Jimmy Carter in the general in 1976. Now both Carter and Ford won their primary’s but lost in the general election because they were weakened. Trump may not know or understand any of this. But I assure you those who will (and probably are) advising him fully understand that straying too far from political promises and party lines will cause him to pay the price.
I’m not going to post repeatedly on the stupidity of helping Hillary Clinton by staying home or voting for some third party candidate who has no chance. I tried that four years ago to no avail. It’s unfortunate but those who do not understand history are in fact doomed to repeat it…and repeat it…and repeat it.
If Trump gets the nomination, I will thoroughly enjoy watching you whine, babble, and shill for a histrionic conspiracy-theorist buffoon who doesn’t know how the government works and can’t use adult English to string together five coherent words on policy. Know-nothing idiots of a feather, I suppose.
So…because of your “principals” you will be opting to help Hillary Clinton load the court with left wing loons who will inevitably take more of your rights away and in addition to that allow Planned Parenthood to kill the unborn.
You have strange “principals” there…Hopefully most your age are not as “principled” as you are. Perhaps they have learned the lessons of history…But not you. You stick to your …(cough) principals.
This was my conspiracy theory (proven true now) after Christie kamikazied himself against Rubio pre-New Hampshire.
I like to watch how the debate participants behave away from the actual debate, and I saw Trump and Christie hugging and laughing with each other during commercial breaks. And I said to myself, Christie is trying to cut off Rubio’s momentum, and he’s doing it to help Trump.
In a similar vein, I think Rubio and Cruz are friendlier to each other than they publicly let on.
Color me a (insert PC label here), but I am totally anti-Christie. How un-disciplined of a person can you be if you become obese again so quickly after having the stomach surgery thing??? Shoot, if Al Sharpton can do it…
Oh yeah, and Christie didn’t know about the bridge thing…yeah, right, I got a bridge to sell you on that one…
And as usual your youth and lack of knowledge not only stops you from refuting my posts line by line but also prohibits you from seeing beyond your own little nose.
But as I said if you’re good with that so am I.
Are you going to take another shot, or walk away before you have your usual hissy fit?
Last time we did this dance you got so frustrated for not being able to launch a cohesive argument you huffed and puffed, name called and finally said you were never going to speak to me again—Why did you betray your principals?
As an aside I wonder how Christie squares his endorsement of Trump with his constant whining about how there needs to be a Governor elected to the Presidency because of all of their vast experience.
A principal is a person who runs a school or a sum of money on which interest is earned.
A principle is a foundational axiom of a worldview.
If you’re going to mock someone (as an aside, I don’t suggest you make a habit of mocking people, given the limits of your intellect), you can at least learn how to write in the English language.
Edit: perhaps you’d know how to spell the word if you were to spend more time thinking about things like principles and less time flinging unprincipled shit in the name of dull, dumb hackery
