I’d have to write someone in.
I am not so sure that what you are saying is actually true for Trump.
I think it was in Nevada, where Rubio and Cruz had enough votes to win this thing in any normal year, 16-17k, but Trump brought in another 30k that voted for him.
Since US presidential elections do not have that high of a participation rate and since a lot of Sanders voters are more anti establishment than anything else which they have in common with Trump supporters and since Hillary could piss them off mightily by winning with the help of superdelegates which would make her look even more establishment and since Trump can draw people to the levers that otherwise would not vote…
…he might actually pull this off.
Not quite. Kissinger believes she has the ability and temperament to be president of the United States. It certainly warrants discussion given his stature. Also, the majority of active posters on this board have trashed her foreign policy.
Nixon and Ford. He is without a doubt the most effective SecState of the past 50 years, and one of the most effective in the nation’s history. Certainly the most influential. The man’s opinions warrant discussion, even if we disagree with him.
Senile? The man is producing high volume, world class thought into his 90s. His 420 page World Order is arguably his most profound work yet.
Trump showed how policy-lite he was last night. After every question about his policies and what he stands for he would only throw insults. Hopefully people took notice.
The healthcare flop is laughable. No details, now for private healthcare, even though he has previously said during the primary process (in a debate and interviews) he is for single-payer. At least he “doesn’t want people dying in the streets”, so we can agree on that… Except that’s literally the most depth he can go to. What a buffoon.
I doubt his supporters care. Read the comments section below any article about the debate as proof.
Thus helping Hillary get elected—NICE!
She certainly had the ability and temperament to handle the Benghazi situation…oh that’s right she didn’t.
Hillary / Trump, it’s the same thing.
Rubio first took it too him attempting to get Trump to actually speak about details of his various plans, of course he couldn’t do it.
Great night for Marco Rubio and also a good performance from Ted Cruz. And regardless of what the mainstream media might be saying this morning - Trump got his ass kicked.
Kasich and Carson need to go away so that there is even less wiggle room for Trump. The less people on that stage the more Trump is exposed.
I think you know better…
Hillary is not going to lower taxes Trump said he would. Hillary will appoint left wing loons to the Supreme Court, Trump said that he would appoint a conservative who is opposed to abortion. Hillary doesn’t care about illegals coming into the country Trump wants to build a wall to stop them. There are other major differences as well.
When you say they are the same thing you are woefully wrong.
Sure, I don’t like Trump either. But, don’t think for a second that he would be a left winger like Hillary. And Bernie the scum bag socialist has even pulled her further left!
And one more point, if Trump should be elected to the Presidency he will do the things he says, or at least try, or he will find himself in another republican primary less than four years after he is sworn in. He will play the game if for no other reason than he wants to stay President. He doesn’t have to be a genius to figure that one out.
Those republicans threatening to stay home or write someone in rather than vote for Trump are absolutely misguided.
Everything in Donald Trump’s past prior to this election cycle points to him being something other than a conservative.
He’s in favor of Planned Parenthood.
He’s in favor of the individual mandate of Obamacare.
He’s in favor of single payer.
He’s in favor of higher taxes on the wealthy.
He loves eminent domain.
He’s donated all kinds of money to democrats.
He’s a perfect example of crony capitalism.
All of the above ignores the utterly absurd things he’s said too. Like the idea that he’s under audit because he’s a strong Christian, that he’s going to “take out” terrorist’s families, that he’s going to get Mexico to pay for his wall (lol), that Rubio isn’t eligible to run for President, that’s he’s going to shut ISIS off from the internet, that he’s going to deport 12 million illegals without giving them due process, or that he’s going to ban all Muslims from entry into the country. These are just the nonsense things I can think of off the top of my head.
I won’t blindly trust the man to do what he says he will do when his life points to the opposite.
I’m no longer a registered Republican because I will not affiliate with a party that promotes a person like Donald Trump.
He’s in favor of the government forcing Apple to unlock their phones, forgot that one…
Oh ya, and he’s a birther and a 9/11 truther.
Your post is why I am highly skeptical of Grump. I don’t look at what people say, I look at what they do or how they vote.
Then you are by lack of involvement (since no other candidate or party is viable) promoting Hillary Clinton to be the next President.
Congratulations!
No I am not, that is total bullshit.
