The Next President of the United States: III

You are such a funny poster…

Big deal. He says he’s worth $10B so $50M is a whopping .5% of his net worth.

That’s the equivalent of someone with a net worth of $200,000 spending $1,000…

Regularly, huh? A police officer puts their life on the line regularly. A grunt puts their life on the line regularly. A firefighter puts their life on the line regularly.

Trump has a full, tax payer funded, secret service detail protecting him.

I count 1.

Use their brain…

*I don’t actually hate Trump.

In what world do you live in that a 50M investment isn’t a “big deal” ? Definitely not planet Earth

A guy attempted to attack him in his Chicago rally and recently the British dude.

… not sure if serious…

The first guy rushing the stage was hardly an attempt on his life.

Your net worth = $100,000

Do you consider $500 spent, over the course of a year, a lot or a little compared to that $100K?

The value of that money is not effected by the fact I made 100k annually.

Did you by any chance read the link I posted that this election has caused bookings at his hotels to tank? He’s losing a lot more than the 50M he personally invested

I didn’t say you made $100K annual. I said your net worth. They’re two different things…

Ok I misread it, my answer doesn’t change.

Jee, I wonder why bookings at his hotels are down…

I don’t care what this election is costing him. He entered it free of his own choice.

It’s .5% of his net worth. That is literally nothing.

If you have 100 apples that is half of 1 apple.

Let’s say I decide to run for Mayor and I also announce my net worth is $100,000. I subsequently spend $50 of my own money every month for the next ten months on my campaign.

Do you consider that $500 of my own money spent on the campaign a lot?

Trump’s former campaign manager has just been hired by CNN.

Holy crap maybe this was the plan all along

I doubt there was any sort of plan involved. Plenty of “news people” have come from the political world. For example Dick Morris worked for Bill Clinton and was then hired by FOX. George Stephanopolous also worked for Bill Clinton and he’s now gainfully employed by ABC. Both quit during their bosses term to take the new jobs. Also Mike Huckabee a candidate twice for the Presidency and worked for FOX for several years. There are many others.

Interesting.

Did they quit during their term or during the election campaign?

Most during the term of their boss. But again I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Trump loves the globalism, except when he is trying to dupe voters. Barely three years ago:

On globalism:

*I think we’ve all become aware of the fact that our cultures and economics are intertwined. It’s a complex mosaic that cannot be approached with a simple formula for the correct pattern to emerge. In many ways, we are in unchartered waters.

The good news, in one respect, is that what is done affects us all. There won’t be any winners or losers as this is not a competition. It’s a time for working together for the best of all involved. Never before has the phrase “we’re all in this together” had more resonance or relevance.*

Suckers. You’ve backed a modern day Elmer Gantry.

Meant to highlight this gem:

My concern is that the negligence of a few will adversely affect the majority. I’ve long been a believer in the “look at the solution, not the problem” theory. In this case, the solution is clear. We will have to leave borders behind and go for global unity when it comes to financial stability.

Leave borders behind for global unity. So there’s that.

It’d be hilarious if it wasn’t so tragic. Suckers, to the very last man.

Perhaps seeing the effects globalism has had on Europe mostly the refugee crisis has changed his mind and caused a complete shift.

If you guessed Paris you’re right, though I’m sure you didn’t.

Also what is good for his businesses is also not necessarily what’s best for the country as a whole.

Paris? My gosh.

And if Hillary won that would no doubt be NYC. I think she is for allowing something like 65,000 Muslim refugees into the country,. Of course none of them would be vetted, what could possibly go wrong?
