The Next President of the United States: III

You don’t honestly think what you wrote above even remotely parallels what idaho wrote, do you?

Jesus ever loving Christ…I’m gonna guess the longest relationships you’ve ever had is less than 6 months, maybe a year.

“Feminist propaganda” so ridiculous. Seriously, stop going to your alpha/beta meeting or whatever the fuck they’re called.

Or get a girlfriend that’s over the age of 18.

Lets recap the recent thread(s):

Use the NSA to spy on citizens to then forcibly remove people deemed illegals without due process at gun point, check.

Ban all Muslims, permanently, based on their names, check.

All women are happier being submissive, but somehow still equal, check.

Maybe you should let your green card expire…

I’m trying to remember when I’ve laughed so hard after reading a post here in PWI. I can’t.

"Recently, a gay couple was shot to death while protecting their adopted gay son. I had known the couple for around 5 years, good marriage, two small children, tough, very tough. This conversation concerning gays right to adopts belongs in the “Stupid Thread”

Surely I converted you with my strong argument for gay adoption?"

I never write anything on this site that I have not learned through personal experience. I comment regularly on the Combat Forum and attempt to be as professional as possible. However your flippant remark concerning Karen was crass. She served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, part of a very specialized unit. I don’t a rat’s fuck what your views on woman are or if you live or die today.

idaho,

You are an invaluable member here and I always make the time to read your posts because they are very personal and very important…and that sort of experience is, shall we say, rather rare. Keep posting because I and others keep learning (here in PWI as well… but I don’t blame you if you decide to exit and stay in combat forums. At least post in some spot that people can learn from you!)

Keep your head down mate, stay safe, and continue to bring the pain to those bastards. My very sincere condolences for the loss of your fellow soldier and friend.

Also, for what it’s worth, you’re way more professional than I have been on here. If you head back to the states at any point and are travelling through the midwest, you’ve got beers with your name on them.

I have no idea who you are, I’ve never read any of your previous posts let alone ever recall interacting with you. But you came into this thread and referred to my comments as belonging in the stupid thread so I responded. This is a forum dedicated to discussing politics and world issues for god’s sakes.

You’re in the military and someone close to you died in the line of duty? I sympathize. But There’s nothing in what I wrote intended to insult this Karen person or people who died fighting. NOTHING.

Oh, I get it now, your goal here has been to come off as batshit nuts just like your boy Donald.

You’ve succeeded.

Well done.

Any ideas as to why Ryan is still endorsing Trump after his remarks? This seems to me incredibly short sighted as well as terrible ethically (then again…politicians…)

Also per the link, what is Sanders doing? How do you see him playing into the future campaign?

If Sanders himself comes out for Hillary, at least the large majority of Bern supporters will eventually hold their nose for HRC.

Ryan believes that Trump, despite all his glaring flaws, will implement the Republican agenda. To be sure, his ilk’s position is untenable regardless of one’s political orientation.

See, I really don’t know. That’s why I am asking. It is obvious that Trump’s positions are BS, but Ryan USED to seem like a level headed guy (regardless of his conservative positions, I mean his practical approaches) with how he approached most issues related to party politics. I cannot see what he possibly hopes to gain:

Trump isn’t a conservative, he just plays one on TV

Trump doesn’t have any background to say he will implement the Republican platform, in fact he has a background to say he will implement things OTHER than that platform

Trump has said egregiously bad things–it doesn’t matter if he’s actually David Duke or if he just sucks at speaking, these things are terrible.

Ryan had an opportunity to set himself up as a perfect principled politician–come out and say he won’t stand for this sort of behavior and then BACK IT UP by recinding his support (or better, never giving it in the first place). He recinds it with principled comments, best case is he wins huge popularity from most on both sides who are pissed at Trump and sets himself up for a run in the future and with political capital among his peers who arent happy. Worst case for him is Trump wins, he spends a 4 year term opposing Trump, and then everybody still likes the fact that he took a stand, and he is ALSO set up for a run in later years.

This way he gives official sanction to comments that poison the GoP brand with minorities and weakens his personal position.

I just don’t get it.

If Trump is setting voting records, who is most accurately representing the voters? Trump or these GOPe guys who refuse to?

Maybe Ryan understand this - his job is to represent the people which means Trump

Yes, yes indeed. And even those who never officially endorsed Trump, or who’ve walked their endorsement back, will find it very difficult to shake the notion that they represent Trump, and he represents them. Trump is the official nominee of their party, after all. The signed, sealed, endorsed official image of the GoP.

Good luck!

He’s definitely the underdog

For anyone definitely voting for one of the mainstream candidates I just Saw this excellent point :

Imagine every bad accusation about Trump’s past is true. Then compare to your Clinton option.

Clinton, while being a giant piece of shit, has been near to and even wielded significant power throughout her career. Her many failures, there are many, notwithstanding she will simply be more of the same. She will try to grow government, she will try to appoint left leaning judges, she will try to take our guns. The Republicans will have to stop her.

Trump, on the other hand, has never wielded real power, his rhetoric is one of an authoritarian, he has popular support on the right, and Republicans will have little choice but to support what he calls for or they will lose their jobs.

His policy positions are, best case, not communicated well and, worst case, not actually thought out. What he has said and many of his supporters, such as yourself, have advocated for are policies that reduce liberty for all Americans, will increase the cost of living, globally, and could very easily make matters worse in the Middle East at a minimum.

In short, Clinton is a piece of complete garbage, but her Presidency is predictable. She’ll work the progressive playbook to the best of her abilities and Republicans can easily oppose her on a partisan level. Many analysts are also predicting a recession in the coming years. The democrats, Obama, and Hillary will be blamed if she wins and depending on its severity would likely end her Presidency after just four years much the same as it did GHWB.

Trump, on the other hand, is a piece of garbage with little understanding of policy, authoritarian undertones, and Republicans will have a very difficult time opposing even his most hideous proposals.

Clinton is the better strategic choice short, medium, and long term.

don’t just assert claims, explain why you think he will be bad for the middle east compared to Clinton and what makes him authoritarian.

Otherwise I have no reason to respond to what you wrote

I will explain it to you very quickly: Ryan like many of us would rather have Trump than Mrs. Pants Suit.

Pretty simple

explain why you think he will be bad for the middle east compared to Clinton and what makes him authoritarian.[/quote]

Yes Hillary will certainly be better for the Middle East than Trump. She already has a stellar record of tossing out a friendly dictator and allowing our ambassador and three brave special forces men to be killed. And then lying about what happened by claiming it was all because of a video when she new beforehand of terrorist threats to the embassy. Her emails have proven this particular lie.

Oh and then of course allowing the ambassadors body to be dragged through the streets during the aftermath.

She is a scum bag of the highest order. I would vote for my City’s Mayor for President over Hillary Clinton. And anyone who doesn’t see that she’s a danger to our country and has proven it repeatedly is sipping the Clinton Kool-Aid.
