The Next President of the United States: III

He says some are good people (meaning a majority are not). That is not factual. It is fear mongering.

Not only that, but he assumes they’re good people. As in, they might be bad too.

Clearly Trump’s point is that of the numbers of people Mexico are sending, a high number are rapists, criminals, etc. That is the entire point of his diatribe in support of stopping “these people” from entering the US - they are generally bad, with good people clearly being the exception. If they were generally good and praiseworthy, there’d be no need for Trump’s classy and luxurious wall.

The dissembling being done in support of Trump is astounding.

And how do Trump supporters/enablers square the circle of “Trump is the enemy of political correctness and tells its like it is!!!” with “Trump doesn’t really mean what he says, you know, and he really didn’t mean this or that…”?

It’s a clown show at this point.

Yup. I mean, I’m just stupid so bear with me here, but if the majority of people coming from Mexico are awesome people than why would we need immigration reform…? Does not compute in this tiny brain of mine.

You said “Quick recap, Trump inferred that some Mexicans are rapists…”

That is flat out false. It isn’t what he said. He said some are good people, not some are rapists. In other-words he is race-baiting. He said the exact opposite of what you claimed. His words are right there man. My gosh. You can check them against multiple outlets. Those are his words. Again he didn’t say “some are rapists.” He plainly says he assumes (what a generous fella) some are good people…

There’s just no argument. His words are on record. Just stop already.

This is definitely a good way of putting it. Zeb, you flat out said the opposite of what Trump actually said. And he can only ASSUME that some are good people. Yikes!

I wanted to bring this out front again.

In short Trump doesn’t emphasize that Mexico is sending good people with some rapists, etc. He flat out says they’re sending rapists, etc…And, he assumes, some good people. He emphasizes the negative and (THAT is what they’re sending, rapists, etc.) and he can only assume there are some good people. Don’t turn your intelligence off for this guy. He’s not worth it.

Now look at article clip about sexual assault. Trump is a race-baiting scare monger.

That conspiracy theory laden video was terribly relevant to the subject at hand.

Sloth,

The Latino vote has never decided a Presidential Election, and not even after giving full amnesty in 1986, Latinos still voted Dem in the 1988 Presidential Election by a 70-30 margin.

Look at the data, not the pundits.

He never said they all were. If a larger percentage of illegal immigrants turn out to be criminals compared to legal ones then his quote holds some truth. At worst he just exaggerated a half truth which is no different than all politicians do from time to time.

Has anyone every actually looked through Trump’s Twitter feed?

It’s pure gold.

I imagine I could spend all day doing this, but I guess I’ll stop here…

I mean, are we fucking serious people? This is the front runner…

Cooper: Mr. Trump, why did you fire a Nuke at China starting WWIII and nuclear armageddon?

Trump: They started it.

Cooper: You fucking serious? That’s the argument my 5-year-old makes.

Trump: You would think that.

45 minutes later

Trump on Twitter: That Anderson Cooper, what garbage. Totally biased. Boycott CNN.

The “he started it” argument is the most pathetic excuse.

If this were reality TV it would be funny to see how long this clown show could go without mentioning any policy and answering every question with polls (often incorrectly and ignoring the numerous bad polls), how much people love him, or how he’ll build a wall.

Sadly, this is the process to become the leader of the most powerful nation in the world. What a joke.

I agree that the “he started it” argument is childish, but keep in mind that someone came for Trump’s wife.

I will repeat that for the men here demonizing Trump for checking the fool who came after his wife. THE MAN (CRUZ) CAME FOR HIS WIFE.

I want to see how you guys handle someone who insulted your wives, if harsh words were the worst thing used, I consider that a good thing.

Trump did not start it, but he finished it, didn’t he. Like the song says, “don’t start no shit there won’t be no shit.”

No. Cruz didn’t start or do anything. A super PAC did. A super PAC used a public image that Mrs. Trump got paid to do. If Trump has a problem with the super PAC ad, attack them.

Good grief the length people will go to defend him when he is clearly handling the situation wrong.

Edit:

The ad didn’t insult anyone. It used a public image and asked if that’s who you want as your first lady. The image was not taken out of context, and the image was meant to be seductive. She was a model. It is normal for political ads to use candidates past against them, which would mean there is nothing wrong asking people if they want a super model as the first lady using an image from a photoshoot.
