How do you explain that the middle class has shrunk more under Obama than under Bush?
Are you seeing this and saying to yourself “we need to go further left?”
Really, democrats are not the answer. Maybe, a long time ago when they had a soul and simply didn’t pander to the worst part of every human being. maybe before they handed out welfare and food stamps as an incentive to vote democrat. Maybe before allowed illegal immigrants through Mexico just to try to recruit more democrat voters.
The last good Democratic President was John Kennedy who today would be considered a republican! He was strong on defense and wanted to cut taxes.

Well when Bush was President the economy was heading into the great abyss. And Obama turned out to be as establishment as Bush was . You have to admit Bush took the rains from Clinton the economy was humming along , at the end of Bush’s run it was in a spiral

When a President is blamed for economic troubles, it’s a pretty good indication that a government(and especially a single branch of that government) is too powerful. The idea that a(ny) President is at all responsible for economic issues should be absurd.

I think it is absurd as well, but it’s a convenient scapegoat for the ignorant.

One could argue it was Clinton’s fault, he signed the legislation dismantling the banking regulations in Glass-Steagall.
154 Democrats in the House voted yes to remove those regulations, including Nancy Pelosi. The next time I hear her claim the Bush recession, she should get a shot of Botox in her brain.

Hold on Pitt, if you think the economy is any better now than when Bush was President I would advise that you stop smoking whatever it is you are smoking:
"The percentage of Americans that own homes is dropping rapidly. According to Gallup, the current level of homeownership in the United States is the lowest that Gallup has ever measured.
The average duration of unemployment in the United States is about three times as long as it was back in the year 2000.
Back in 2007, about 10 percent of all unemployed Americans had been out of work for 52 weeks or longer. Today, that number is above 30 percent.
In November 2008, 30.8 million Americans were on food stamps. Today, more than 46 million Americans are on food stamps.
The U.S. national debt has risen by more than 5 trillion dollars since the day that Barack Obama first took office. In a little more than 3 years Obama has added more to the national debt than the first 41 presidents combined.
Now throw in his multitude of foreign policy disasters and you have the worst President in US history!
I realize this post is not about who is at fault Barry vs. Bush vs. Billy but I just wanted to throw my two cents in about the next President of the USA.
Voting for me is quite easy. I vote on that person’s stance on life. Not what they say but how their voting record stands about LIFE issues.
Mike Huckabee was awesome in the CNN video on this site! The best portion starts at ~5:25 ; )
Another man who I find in parallel with my stances on everything is Ben Carson.
With one of these men on the primary ticket I would not question this country?s future. If one was President and the other a VP I would feel very confident about our future, even if we are living on borrowed time.

Zeb I have learned not to engage disingenuous people , Bush wa s president when the economy went seriously south just because Phil Gramm: You Whiners - YouTube The Bush admin denied the recession was coming right up to the end

As far as foreign policy disasters
the 3 biggest I can think of are
1 Jimmy Carter removing the Shaw
2 George Bush Removing Saddam
3 Obama removing Gaddafi [/quote]
Obama handing Iran 150 billion dollars and not even getting our hostages back.
Obama treating Israel like an enemy.
Obama withdrawing troops from Iraq far too early which helped create Isis
Obama allowing Putin to take the Ukraine without barely speaking a word.
Okay, I will have to stop there because I am late for an appointment. But, Obama has been the absolute worst foreign policy President in modern times. He has no equal!

Pitt,
You will not address the above because you have no answer. I have found that those who really wish Obama delivered are in a state of denial.
You cannot attack the Bush economic record without at least tipping your hat to how very bad Obama is.
