pdobbs its hard for me to tell whether your serious or not but if so…
My hunch is that from alot of cycling training over the years your very fit but not very strong. And that fitness may affect how you think of your body compared to where its really at. From a bodybuilding goal standpoint, your lacking quite a bit. YOur symetry is off and ur upper body is underdeveloped big time.
Remeber a judge on stage will not ask you how much you bench, they are judging you just by how you look. Your legs just have a fitness developement to them, it looks good(ish) but it lacks all the major curves of size in bodybuilding legs. They just lack the bulk.
I dont really know where your at bodyfat wise but ill tell you this, it doesnt really matter for you yet. If your at 7% bf, it shows you lack tons of muscle, because 7% is quite ripped and your just not showing much. If your 7% and your whole sixpack doesnt show, you basically have no ab size built yet. These are all things you’ll need for your upcoming show.
My advice to help you do your best is hit all the major moves in the gym that make us all wanna puke with heavy volume.
Start Benching, Deadliftin, Squating, Military Pressin, Pullups, Dips, cleans all the fun stuff. Center most of your workouts around them with lots of sets… for example
Chest…ummm
6 sets of Bench Press for 10 reps each
6 sets of Incline or Decline for 10 reps each
4 sets of Flys or w/e…etc you can add supplementary exercises as you deem ness.
You’ll gain the size way faster with volume than if you do 2 reps with 210 on bench.
On top of that ull prob need to eat more than you do now.
A real simple diet for gainging weight i like is
-Egg sandwich with cheese, glass a milk
-Big burger with french fries or a big Burrito (out to eat foods, not mcdonalds)
-Peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a big cup of milk
-Big after workout shake made with milk
-Big pasta meal with sauce, cooked groud beef, and olive oils
-pre bedtime shake micellur casien mixed with another slow digesting protein made in milk
i snack on cans of tuna in oil and oatmeal, if u can call that a snack
