The New Face of Young Lifters

ya aragons right lol one guy thats at about 850 a couple between 4-600 and a few more not far behind. so the average guy sees this and the crowd he brings and bam you have a bench head in the making. and these guys also all train at westside. if that helps explain the numbers

I almost made a thread about this when it came out several months ago. If you live in Arizona you have probably heard this song.

It’s the Douche’s anthem.

Makes me think back to this summer when I was lifting in my high school weight room.

Whole football team was in there, everyday (6 days a week) without fail. 135 benches and EZ bar curls every single day for the entire summer- none of their lifts went up in weight the entire summer.

Maybe once a week I’d see a quarter squat with 275 or 315 (padded of course), but these were literally the only lifts that I saw them do the entire summer.[/quote]

Surely you went to cranbrook in sydney australia. Haha because thats exactly what the rugby team did in my summer over here in oz. Of course none of them got much bigger.

The fact that they would crowd around my weights partner and be in awe by the size of his arms, particularly triceps (he has 18 inch arms, mostly triceps, at the age of 18) and his huge legs (from heavy atg squats)

And then return to doing 60 kilo bench and EZ bar curls when my friend does not even do bench just goes to show the intelligence level of these particular gym goers.

this phenomena has been around for years

but the type you describe have also started appearing in the UK, first exercise of choice is of course biceps.

What is amusing is these guys blow up over first 4-6 weeks of training yet they don’t get much stronger. I bet its just all that hard training bro

That’s hilarious. My dad works with one of those guys (not pictured in the vid). He’s mid 40s, all jacked up on juice, overly tanned, and sports constantly gelled hair. So apparently douchebaggery does not fade with age.

hey it’s not all that bad. A lot of my best friends are like that…I was a frat boy too (though fortunate enough to not live in the frat house and have my own place lol, frats up in Canada work differently.)…except that I continued with my workouts ( including legs) and studied a bit harder and no roids. Stop the hate lol
