I don’t believe that figure to be honest. But …
… THAT’S A HUGE BITCH!
Why is it fine for a guy to have a muffintop, but a girl that has it is called shit behind her back?
I know the answer is because women care a lot more about things besides looks in guys… but why do guys care so much more about looks, or why do women not care that much about looks?
I mean, evolutionarily speaking, both women and men want a healthy partner that is able to provide, right?
For example, my friend has a muffintop. He’s not fat, just kinda chubby, like 6’1’’ and 210lbs maybe. He doesn’t lift.
His girlfriend is really hot, but he would never date a chubby chick, no matter how good her personality.
Call him shallow, but a lot more guys are like this than girls.
tl;dr:
Why do women (seem?) to care less about looks than men?
Just because you care less about looks and potentially more about other things - let’s face it, the ‘caring’ is displaced here and other things are prioritized - does not mean you are somehow less “shallow.” This logic needs to die; it is pure fallacy.

According to the Journal Diabetes Care, while 87 percent of the teens were classified as overweight, only 41 percent of parents and 35 percent of kids themselves said they were “very overweight.” Of the parents who said their child’s weight was “about right,” 40 percent were in the 95th percentile of weight for their age (50 percent of teens who said their weight was about right fell into this category).

I think it all starts at home. As it is been said a lot to me lately, ‘if I wouldn’t eat it, why would I feed it to my kids?’ And it’s true…But then again, the average Parent eats like crap anyway. So what to do?

I agree it’s sick and sad, but I hate those kinds of statistics. I fall in the obese category according to my BMI. X, you are probably morbidly obese.
I know weightlifters aren’t the norm, but it just shows the logic flaws in the statistics.[/quote]
BMI is worthless. As you all probably know it does not take muscle/fat ratio into account at all. It is simply an equation (height/weight).
Marshal Faulk, future NFL Hall of famer was classified as obese II while playing in the league. If you are under 6’ and weigh close to or above 200 lbs. you will be considered overwieght or obese.
The shitty part is that many insurance companies rate your premium, deductible, etc. based on BMI.
BTW, those first 2 paragraphs by OP is hilarious!
haha awesome post ~

The girl had a little extra pudge on her, but I wouldn’t call her fat. You don’t need to have rock hard abs to be sexy, IMO. In fact, I’m not a huge fan of girls with six packs.

I can relate to that, the You Got Curves thread SAMA pretty much shows my taste…all the same, my philosophy is, if your stomach protrudes past your chest and or is bigger than mine you’re fat.

It’s not.

Bullshit. You do realize that men are banging the muffin-top chicks? It’s just that men are typically more profane and tend to ridicule things like that more openly than the average females. So you tend to hear that more from them.
It’s not ok for a guy to have a muffintop, but I don’t constantly see men trying to cram their fatness into size 3 jeans. Women on the other hand, seem to do it constantly. I see at least a dozen of them crammed back into their highschool jeans every time I go to pick up my son at school.
If they don’t like getting made fun of for it, then they should learn how to dress themselves goddamnit.
Also, hot chics who date fat, ugly assholes are usually damaged, they’re not any less shallow than anyone else.
^I agree. Cover it up or get called.
being a somewhat noted chubby chaser (or just indiscriminate about looks to a point) i prefer to call it a “life-preserver,” but that is only when the girls has it all the way around under a too tight shirt,…not really spilling out, but just enough
hhmmmmmm…
