I think throwing in “ex-felon” is pretty relevant there too.

I get that…but dude, gay for pay? Just to juice up and be a YouTube “guru”?
Not my place to judge really. I can’t really imagine his situation.
That is my mindset also.

I already knew this happened to a significant degree in bodybuilding. You would have to blind to not see the attraction of this activity to homosexuals. I guess that is why none of this shocks me at all. I also don’t care if someone else is gay or not so that may have more to do with it.

I knew guys years back who didn’t do anything all day but lift, eat, sleep, smoke and screw whatever girl they were living with.

People like that are not trying to work hard for anything they don’t have to…so asking why someone would take a picture for money as opposed to working 40 hours a week for the same pay is a little pointless.

If these were Academic wonders with goals of a career in business then I could see the shock and horror.

These are guys who just want to get paid for how they look and work as little as possible.

It isn’t like they are role models or models of morality. This shit happens…probably way more than many here are aware of.

Hence they they are JUDGED, and in some cases, judged appropriately.

Judgment and discrimination are good things and attributes of real men.

MUST HAVE DISCLAIMER: I am NOT talking about discriminating in a bigoted manner! That is distasteful.

Why would you have a problem with me not caring about this?

I mean, that is why you wrote this, right?

You can do as you please. You can make another 10 pages of jokes about it or fill the thread with pictures of gay guys for all I care.

I am simply saying how I feel about it.

I tend to avoid judging something as a negative just because it is “gay or homosexual”.

I generally toss those things into the box labeled “shit I am indifferent about unless it affects me personally”.

Kali seemed to have two goals in life after getting out of jail…to be famous and get paid doing it.

I wouldn’t hire him to baby sit my kids.

Dude can do whatever he wants to as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else…especially since it seems to be working for him.

I know I definitely disagree that 'Judgment and discrimination are good things and attributes of real men."

It used to be called gossiping and bitching…and it damn sure wasn’t manly.

I don’t want to e-fight either. I believe you are a good guy. I just simply can’t relate to men who think judgment is somehow bad considering it’s necessary for survival and an orderly society.

Some examples when judgment is needed: forming a new friendship, accepting a job, interviewing and evaluating someone during a hiring process, grading a report or test or some other academic or professional function, finding a mate, accepting a date, and so on.

Do you go about life in these examples with no judgment. Do you think others are wrong for judging you? After all, I’ve judged you and my judgment leads me to believe, based on your posts here, that you’re a good guy. Is that not good for me or even possibly you, for others to be accepting of you and perhaps befriending you based on this judgment?

To clarify, I don’t feel judgement is bad. I do not ascribe morality to the action. I simply do not understand the situation of the man, which is why I feel it is not my place to judge.

The majority of my post grad education was focused on the works of Hobbes and Machiavelli as well, which is why I don’t really view what he does in a negative context.

I read Machiavelli the first time in college.

I think you and me need to lift together some day.

Good posts.

Oh, but like my man above, this isn’t about the simple act of “judgment”.

This blatant gossip and rumor mill shit and then a bunch of dudes laughing at the fact that it is gay.

If that is the same as judgement as a skill to survive to you then carry on.

You know what would be cool…if your lapses of esprite de l’escalier didn’t result in several posts of the same quote with different barbs. No offense, but it highlights how fast you work these things out mentally.

That may or may not be a good thing…but I am sure you may have to look that up.

Ya know, I often find it odd, thought not in a bad way, that an industrious person such as yourself has a problem with others judging other men for being or implying that they are spongers, moochers, parasites.
