Although I still think X-Men III is one of the worst movies of all time… and Brent Ratner shouldn’t be allowed to make another movie ever again.

One of the worst movies of all time?!? Are you insane? It might not be one of the best movies ever, but certainly no where near the worst[/quote]
Alright, I’ll admit I was a bit harsh in my original post. I don’t think it compares to the first two. It wasn’t “too bad” but it wasn’t “great” either. There were parts that I really liked as well as some funny parts too… but it just seemed too choppy to me. I don’t know if it was the editor’s fault, or the director.
Also… if you do watch the movie… WAIT UNTIL THE END OF THE CREDITS so you can see the 30 seconds of movie at the very end… it does tie a few loose ends up.
I’m from the camp that just thinks this is viral marketing. Seriously, who’s going to go see X-Men 3? Guys, young guys. Who the hell watches internet videos? Mostly guys, young guys. I won’t even bother to ask who screams more stupid catch phrases…
Add that to the fact that the character says the line in the movie, and you’ve got a shitty catchphrase to go along with a shitty blockbuster movie.

Exactly how shitty is a movie that truly is a blockbuster? I have seen some shitty movies that were a waste of my time watching and never should have been created in the first place. This wasn’t one of those.

I find it best not to enjoy anything, just in case it’s really just someone trying to trick me.

The video came out years before X3 so I seriously doubt that. I’m impressed that they went the distance to associate themselves to the video. While the video is seriously funny (I’m gonna eat yo’ costume!), it’s vulgar and offensive and X3’s demographic includes the young innocent kids and the parents that drive those kids to the theater.

For me it was the other way around. When he says it in the movie I couldn’t stop laughing and you could tell which people in the theater had seen the video because they enjoyed it that much more.
I was disappointed they made him a mutant in the film but I guess they had limited time to explain everything. My buddy’s girlfriend actually thought Vinnie Jones used steroids and bulked up to juggernaut size.

That shows you how much girls pay attention to detail when it comes to muscle mass. Most women couldn’t name even five different muscle groups. While that latex costume was actually one of the best I’ve seen in terms of realism, you could still tell it wasn’t “natural” if you had the slightest clue of what a real body looks like.
