The Jets

I was talking to my buddy today about this and he basically told me when he is in the pocket and throws down field he has a good arm, but any sideline throw he makes its like hes watching Pennington. I was pretty surprised he said that…I gotta take a look at that.

I will be at Oneils tavern in Queens sippin Jamesons with Greg Cosell if anyone wants to come with.

Maybe my bromance with Sanchez has blinded me !

Sounds like fun man. Damn I miss the East Coast!

Manning: 11 picks in a 3 game stretch with 4 pick 6s, are you f’n nuts?
wow tamme? who the fuck is Gronkowski? deion branch was doing what in Seattle?
Brandon Tate ?
What was Wes Welker before he met Brady?

Brady won 3 super bowls with whom at WR? David Patten? Givens? Branch?
Peyton had 2 HOFers for the decade, Wayne and Harrison
goodnight you lost clown boy

Talking shit about my boys so I got to chip in.
One, as already pointed out I think Peyton is the #1 quarterback as far as stats go. Three games aint a season. Second, Peyton has started making more mistakes in line with his running game and o line going down hill. If you cant run the ball, you eventually will have trouble throwing it. One of the keys to your pretty boy QB success is the Patriots have had a solid run game for years.
Two, While Marvin is a shoe in for the HOF, Reggie Wayne most likely is not. On top of that most people take alot away from these two and Clark saying they wouldnt be shit wo Manning. Just look at Harrison, the Colts didnt want him because of rumors, not actual legal troubles, and nobody else even picked him up. YOui think Marvin looked worse his last year than T.O. has for four now.
Third, Bellichik is a fucking genius. he doesnt need the all star players because of his formula for analyzing and coaching talent, much the same way Peyton can consistently turn no names into pro bowl recievers. Tom Brady isnt a bad QB, but nobody has ever had their personal reputation boosted so much by playing in a coaches system. Just look at KC and the way they are playing. Does the coaching staff and philosophy seem familiar. Are they running the ball like some monsters? Are we hearing about that or the rising star of Matt Cassell?

I just can not believe the amount of “biased” Brady sports hate. I can understand Brady sports hate but not “biased” Brady sports hate.

I hate Peyton Manning because every crowns him GOD of quarterbacks even though Tom kills him in post season success.

That being said, I don’t sit there and spout a bunch of untruths about Manning because I don’t like him.

All you guys who do this just lower your own credibility with regards to talking football.

Tom Brady is putting together an unbelievable season this year. He leads the NFL in touchdowns (29) and passer rating (109.9), and has thrown 268 consecutive passes without an interception.

Gimme a break…

right on

Surprised no one has mentioned Sal Alosi’s little cheap shot on Nolan Carroll.

You know, this being a Jets thread in a strength & muscle website.

This is for the Brady haters. I really do get why people hate him. Tom Terrific, Mr. Perfect, etc. If he wasn’t on my team I would definitely hate him because he’s too, damn, perfect…I still find myself even as a fan starting to hate him because of his Goldilocks life and then I’m like, what the hell am I doing?!?

Anyways, apparently Tom Brady pens a letter to Santa Claus…

haha I just noticed that on the back of “Raising the Bar” (Dave Tate’s book) there’s a quote from Sal saying how much he loved it.

Not that it means anything, but being on teh back of Dave’s book was probably the most publicity he’d ever gotten up until he KO’d that dolphin.
Haha, yeah. I believe I’ve heard DeFranco mention him a time or two. You know, both Jersey. Both bald. Both strength coaches. Of course they know eachother.

Oh, you mean like back on page 7?

Sal Alosi, the Jets “tripping coach”, should be fired, fined, banned, and sued. If I was a team owner and someone ‘vandalized’ a million dollar player of mine, I’d sue the shit out of him.

There’s no room for that in any sport anywhere.
Steely, I’m sorry I didn’t recognize your Sal post and give you your much deserved props.

I absolutely agree though. He’s lucky Carroll didn’t get permanently injured. I’m pretty sure he’d have players from all teams calling for his head. He wants to play so bad…throw his ass out there.

bump…

This counts as a quality win, all the naysaysers cant say it doesent. Awesome game, the way football should be played…off to Chicago.

Agreed. As does Cosell.

JETS OFFENSE V. STEELERS DEFENSE

 • Jets significant snaps with 6 OL, They both ran and threw out of it
 • Edwards 38 yds on 2nd quarter FG drive was a great throw by Sanchez; Edwards go route versus “man free” coverage, McFadden excellent coverage
 • Keller 11 yds on 3rd + 1 an example of how the Jets need to create and manufacture a passing game in favorable down and distance situations
 • Sanchez 7 yd TD a great call by OC Schottenheimer, A naked boot off a tight 6 OL/2 TE/2 back formation
 • Jets did a good job attacking the Steelers “cover 3” with the corners in off position, Sanchez quick timing throws to the outside
 • Biggest play of the game was Edwards 16 yds on 3rd + 9 on 4th quarter FG drive: Sanchez great job avoiding unblocked blitzer Mundy and then an outstanding throw to Edwards; A stick throw in a very tight window
 • Sanchez an efficient game within the context of a limited game plan, Jets had no intermediate pass game - Sanchez played a clean game with no turnovers and no forced throws
 • Sanchez took a couple of orchestrated deep shots against anticipated single high coverages, He made a great throw on Edwards 38 yds

Jets… still gay.

Greg Cosell is awesome…i always liked that guy!

F. EE. T. feet feet feet

If this is true. I officially love Rex.

I’m not into feet, but I’m a total deviant in other ways.
