I hate the idea of this conflict, I personally have no gripe with Muslims who practice in private. My issue comes when anyone from any religious denomination comes at me with “you NEED to follow my religion or punishment will ensue either here and now or in the afterlife”
My life is difficult as it is… religion won’t help me… but I’m happy for others to find solace in prayer and I do appreciate the sense of community that comes from being a part of a large religion.

I actually worked with Christian’s, Jews and Arabs in the same group without noticing any tension.
I was exposed to violence in thst I had to run away from gunshots once and often entire blocks closed down following a shooting, stabbing, I think one suicide bombing etc

Being American should in itself be a decent enough reason to support Israel because Israel largely keeps certain groups/organizations in check thst would otherwise be at odds with the United States.
Without Israel America would likely have additional wars and global conflicts to worry about… and American troops would die as opposed to Israeli soldiers.
That being said I also believe without Isrsel many of these groups would also fight each other as this has been occurring within Palestine, Yemen etc.
