Could you put the name of the author with the article on the front page please.
He is on TRT though. It is also an excellent article. His appearance or anyone else’s should not negate obvious wisdom.
For what it’s worth I am a fat recreational lifter who uses lots of body English on occasion.
Yes, I am sorry to you, please forgive me for my inconsiderate comment to you. You are a better person than me. Alpha, Marine Corp, Combat decorated Veteran with anger issues and PTSD. But the color is self tanner, I am 55 I think steroids are out of the question for me, and if I was I would hope to be a lot bigger than that! Ha ha I think your big hands should squeeze the shiatsu out of everything you lift… that makes your forearms huge. I assume you know that already. Peace out!
Thank you sir. More tact and respect from me next time, tho. Sorry everyone.
Nothing to forgive =)
I’d send a box of crayons your way, but I’m too busy eating mine at the moment!
~CrayonEater1 out
Yeah @bwags mate, cap doffed for posting pics.
Charles talks about it on insta.
@bwags @Andrewgen_Receptors Go Army, you dogs!
those who can’t, teach
this bwags guy had my respect until he lied about steroid use. “steroids are out of the question for me”
is this what you say when you’ve done a bunch of juice in the past?
Is TRT and doing steroids considered the same? Answer is different to most everyone. Is eating clean/grams of protein intake the same as doing steroids, yes, if you know how to eat. “A bunch of juice in the past?” Bwags via Ron Burgandy: “Do you know how I am?”
Darn it! “Do you know who I am?”
The piano player in the corner stops playing, and the saloon clears out. The patrons know there’s only one outcome to this transgression.
FRONT SQUATS AT HIGH NOON
Of course there’s an element of practice what you preach. “Be the proof”. But damn, if I only ever took note from people who had roided up bodies that train mostly for vanity, I’d have never learnt what I consider the most important lessons from people like Pavel Tsatsouline and Dan John.
Just a note to the naysayers: Charles’ primary motivation has never been hypertrophy or even a beach body; he’s primarily interested in strength and performance. Also, Charles is one of the very few people whose training advice I pay attention to, i.e., he’s a smart SOB.
here
he answered? he ignored my question.
I’ve always used this approach for “who to listen to”
Lowest tier: random nobody. Anyone can have an opinion on anything. If a dude is not big or strong and has not coached anyone, I don’t care how much they have read.
Low Tier: A big and strong dude. This person has at least shown they can make ONE person big and strong. That’s MUCH more than the first person.
Middle Tier: Successful coach. Someone that has consistently produced good athletes is worth listening to. They know how to make people achieve the goals I want to achieve.
High Tier: Successful coach AND athlete. They have produced results AND experienced them first-hand to have a real inside knowledge and empathy.
And on that final part: they don’t need to have maintained it for life. If they got Gold and then became a pile of jello, they earned that right.
If it is actually TRT, then the two are not remotely the same.
My standards line up pretty much the same, although I have to remain incredibly weary of steroid users giving natural lifters advice. Credentials with other people need to be there. I don’t care how big and strong they are.
