The Hollywood War Continues...

Round 1 went our way. Expendables destroyed Eat Prey Dove.

Round 2 is going down in less than a week.

VS

Show up to Machete on opening weekend, in numbers, or watch as Hollywood makes more bullshit, nut-shriveling chick flicks.

The War has just begun…

it has lindsey lohan?! wtf, that takes down the awesomeness of that movie down a notch

Not if she goes out like Stone Cold did in the Expendables…On fire…I think I’ll punch her in the face now.

Lindsay…

looks badass.

I know, I just love Drew Barrymore in romantic comedies!

The fail of Lindsay Lohan is automatically cancelled out by the awesomeness of Robert DeNiro.

I think I can forgive Lindsay Lohan somewhat if she’s almost deepthroating a six shot in a nun outfit…

lmao

Wow, I hope its more upbeat like the redband trailer seems to be.

Since when do they have to bring politics into action movies? Regardless of if you’re liberal, conservative, want more border patrol or whatever, please agree with me that you don’t want to hear about it in a fucking senseless action movie. International politics works well for bond, but not quite this.

Agreed. I really wanted to see this. But after watching this preview, Idk. I don’t want a two hour pro-illegal immigrant piece, I want a mindless action movie.

The Expendables:

Domestic Total as of Aug. 27, 2010: $75,212,000

Seriously, I know they never will, but hollywood needs to cut out this political movie bullshit. They had Milk, Green Zone, Rendition, All those Michael Moore Movies, Inconvenient Truth, Cider House Rules… Where does it end?

We don’t really give a shit about political movies. I thought Machete sounded cool at first, but now I am DEFINITELY not going to see it. Half the people will go see it just incase you can see Jessica Alba’s asscrack.

Even though Knocked-Up was a crude humor movie, i do give it to them for portraying aborion in a negative light.

Well Robert Rodriguez is Mexican. But fuck it I’ll check it out just to see. That trailer seemed a bit dry I’ll let ya know how it is.

Machete uses another man’s intestines to rappel down a building.

He has seen fit to mount a mini-gun on his motorcycle.

I will overlook his political views in lieu of his inherent awesomeness.

I get the feeling this is going to be a super camp movie. And I’m cool with that as long as I know this going in. The above clip is RAW, so don’t look at it if your squeemish…hell get out of this thread if your squeemish.

1-Priest + 2 Shotguns thats all I’m going to say.
