My calluses typically shed a layer every few weeks after I shower. An edge gets loose and I may peel it off. They’re probably just not as big as most of yours because I don’t deadlift 500lbs yet.
On a different note, I add beta alanine to my pre-workout. Turns out I’ve become accustomed to taking 6 grams.
My wife uses gloves while lifting and I always feel embarrassed and shamed 
… Even though it’s just us who lift in my garage.

You have crossed that line. I am not cared for around these parts much. But, in all honesty, you should be kicked off this site. Banned from posting on here. Until you have learned from your mistake, changed your behavior, given an apology, and written commitment that it won’t happen again.
