I’ve fallen so far out of the loop on these things that I don’t know whether people are talking about craft beer or some special hybrid strain of weed.
People say stuff now like the had a blonker of creamy Honking Elephant so I just point at something toward the ceiling and say “Your shoe lace is untied.”. While they’re looking in the wrong direction I go somewhere else.

No, it’s educational. We’re next to Colorado where it’s legal but people try to come back through here thinking it’s OK because they purchased it legally. Unfortunately they lose their stash and get arrested when they’re wrong.
I’m actually leaning towards being in favor or legalizing everywhere. The government could tax the profits so why do they care? Clearly they’re not too worried because there’s still a federal law that states marijuana is illegal. State, County, and Municipal laws can be more restrictive than the next level but never less restrictive. But as you can see they’re not doing anything to shut down the legal operations.
As a cop, I’d rather deal with people who are high than drunk… unless they’re lacing it with other stuff or dipping it in embalming fluid. People on PCP and wet are F-ing nuts.
Aside from the legal problems for me and my employment, I’d actually avoid it for the adverse health effects from the smoking part, but it appears there are ways around that now.

My stepdad used to smoke PCP, hate the stuff. Hate it. I’ve never tried it, but I’ve seen people on it.
If you’re not fond of the CO2 that’s burned off, you can always opt for vaporization or edibles. I can live without ganja, but I occasionally indulge in it, compared to highschool where I was always stoned to Timbuktu.
Pot doesn’t do too much for muscle gains, or concentration, or rate of exhaustion concerning lifting or aerobic work, but if you take a few hits here and there seldomly it really doesn’t do anything bad. Just a bit of relaxation.
I too support legalization of marijuana. If it were to be legalized in Texas, I have no idea how they’d go about re-writing the extremely outdated laws and crap. In Texas most of the inmates consist of people with possession charges, while folks guilty of bigger crimes are still walking around in the free world.
Tell that to my Husband. I have no clue how he can handle the amounts of pot that he does. He isn’t the smartest, but he has a huge heart, and excels pretty well at his job, but I just…I have no words.

That’s how I used to use mj, straight after my post workout shake the idea was my muscles are getting relaxed after work and that would aid recovery

And side note, why do you guys use grams as measurement? Over in the UK it’s measured in oz and quarters halves etc and price is dependent on the dealer and what strain it is, amnesia haze and other amazing strains claim the highest prices

Because an oz is broken down into grams. We still use oz and half and such, but if you just want like 2 grams you don’t ask for a fourteenth of an oz

I think most is domestically produced now, but when a lot was imported its packaged in kilos. But we’re America, so it gets converted. I always figured grams were convenient for smaller amounts and pricing, but for general handling oz, and lbs. was easier.
Plus smaller amounts= bigger $$$ for dime bag stuff. Back when… and eighth was 25 dollars, but contained 3.5 grams. But by the little bag, thats 35 dollars. Its crazy to me, but some people will break up an ounce into like 28 grams and turn it into $280.00 over and over.
Wow the smallest amount here would be a 16th but called a 10 bag cos it’s 10 gbp then you ask for an 8th a quarter half etc and True it’s not something I understood as like mentioned when you get a kilo you then break it down into Imperial measures

I’m constantly using Google conversions for that crap. At least I know that 10 of one thing equals one of the next biggest thing in the metric system.
I also know that 16 TBSP equals one cup. I’ve memorized that one for some reason…probably from cooking protein snacks with peanut butter.
