The Flame-Free Confession Thread

I’ve been intermittent fasting for decades. Every night, while sleeping, I go about 8 hours without eating.

I’ve got a friend of mine with a weird night eating habit. He wakes up in the middle of the night and eats bars of chocolate and has no memory of it in the morning.

The hilarious part of it is he get super arsey if his girlfriend mentions it while he’s doing it. If she wakes up while he’s lying there stuffing his face and asks him what he’s doing he responds like "I’m eating my fucking snickers now fuck off!"

Really placid guy usually. Never remembers eating the chocolate or shouting at his mrs when he wakes up.

This sounds like one of those hidden details in every “Help I can’t lose weight” thread.

“Guys, I track every single calorie I eat, only eat organic farm raised vegan chicken and rice blessed by monks. Why can’t I lose weight? Oh, also, at night I eat 4 dozen snickers bars in a fugue. Do you think that might have something to do with it?”

IT goes the same for the ones who say they eat 20,000 calories in a day, but when they count them they only eat 500. I remember in high school I couldn’t gain weight after being anorexic and I would wake up at 3 am everyday to have a shake and eggs or peanut butter. Do what you gotta do mans.

I agree, maybe for different reasons. I see intermittent fasting as an old man’s diet. Somebody that doesn’t mind losing some muscle for the sake of convenience and staying lean. At 21, you need to take advantage of the hormones and metabolism by eating. Fuck, I used to study in the cafeteria during college just so I wouldn’t have to keep leaving the library to eat.

I was determined to add cardio and sprints to the 5 month T-Ransformation challenge. But I let life and the job get in the way, so I just tried to hit the calories and the weights and hope for the best. The lightest I’ve been is 213 this year. Up around 224 now. Below is a typical day of eating. I try to stay near 2000 cals, but if 1 day a week I need to clock in at 2500 to hit protein I don’t sweat it. That’s still 11cals/lb so is a theoretical deficit.

But the lack of fat loss results speaks for itself. The confession is it took me too damn long to face the fact that I need to add conditioning work if I want to look better. Some folks lose fst fine without cardio, not me. Time to break out the keg, tire, jump rope, hill sprints, trap bar and stationary bike.

Why do you have a goal of 84 grams of sugar?

I don’t. You can set carb/fat/protein goals on free myfitnesspal, but you can’t get more specific than that without paying for the app.

So… you’re just east of me?

I live in Omaha, lol

I started listening to country music… actually kind of enjoy it.

I’ve always listened to and liked country music, until recently. I started listening to pop, and really like it.

I caught the Bieber-Fever. :mask::cold_sweat:

I think Lady Gaga is a far more talented musician than people give her credit for.

Oh those lucky bastards at the front row…

No, but it’s pretty good. I’m just a casual listener of her work.

Today I’m just lazing around watching youtube.

This popped up. I’ve not laughed so hard in a long time. Seriously, I had a mild asthma attack laughing.

Whatever infected Miley Cyrus has entered Katy Perry.
