Yeah. There were a few too many things that stood out to me to allow suspension of disbelief. That one just killed it though.

Son started a internship at a local gym to complete a requirement for one of his minors. Might break the moratorium I have and actually look into it. 1 they have a indoor area to push a prowler. 2 . The actually have stones!!

Your post is cooncidental considering my next post here was going to express the same sentiment. The glorification of the alpha male concept came out of the PUA and incel “communities” (god help us if these people can make up what’s normally considered a community).
I have nothing but empathy for incels who are otherwise good-natured, sweet men who are struggling to find a woman that that fits them. I am not sympathetic to highly mysogynistic PUA’s and incels who believe screwing random women people hardly know or acting like a raging, cutthroat sociopath is what makes an alpha male and that married, decent and faithful but ordinary men are squares, chumps, and “betas” who only decided to marry and have kids becuse they didn’t have options for a thrilling lifestyle. You know, like deep down, we all want to be like Dan Bilzerian and would live like him if we had the resources to do so. (Bilzerian is not an alpha male by the way.)
Real alpha males make up a tiny fraction of the population. There is not much trying one can do to become one. I believe the an alpha male is made from a genetic predisposition coupled with the right circumstances. I actually know some men who I believe has the genes to become alpha males but unfortunately had upbringings that didn’t allow them to do so.

I think the term is largely misused. Apes and monkeys fight, posture and fuck for hierarchical dominance within a troop and to pass along their seed to the most amount of mates. In turn, the females who mate with the alpha secures the position of their offspring within the hierarchy.
We are monogamous. Multiple mates aren’t required since the intent isn’t to impregnate them. Power and dominance in our current society on a macro scale aren’t obtained through physical strength or macho posturing. They are obtained, and passed on to the next generation through the accumulation of wealth and assets.
The real alphas are people like the nerds heading the tech firms in silicon valley. The “Alpha As Fuck” bros at the gym are fooling themselves.
So, kids, you really wanna be alpha? Go study really hard while acquiring as much knowledge on finance, business and wealth management as you can. And develop the balls to take calculated risks when required to.
