When I was a runner I did the same experiment with chicken. The result was 1 whole roast chicken is the right amount !!

Tonight I had about 10-12 oz of pasta with meat, cheese, and sauce and followed it with a half pound cheeseburger. I wasn’t full.
I made it till about 9:30pm before I ate a bowl of cereal and half a bagel. For some reason, when I don’t track my food I eat a lot more. I need to figure this out…
I have no problem eating a large pizza from Domino’s by myself.
I’m cooking ~1.6lb worth of chicken thigh to eat right now.
When you go for a 2 hour + run you get really fkn hungry. I would eat and eat for the next 2 days. A whole roast chicken with potatoes, Veggies and gravy would be followed by a big bowl of fruit and ice cream.
Sounds like my appetite after 5x8 on squats, deads, lunges, and RDLs when I was doing SGSS.

Ok, so I’ve definitely been under eating. Although I can’t train as hard as I’d like right now too because of time constraints. Will eat more when i get to lift gain. The thing about being asian though is the rice. It’s so easy to eat a lot of rice which just ends up being belly fat for me ![]()
