I’m with you on this in spirit. Scientifically I have no idea.

For the sake of due diligence, I’ll most likely have to push it to 30oz to see if the recovery benefits improve.

Might as well go for the tomahawk. Even past the point of diminishing return, there is still a return.

We’ll figure it out.

I don’t wanna be the one who ruins the party, but serious question, don’t you think that consistently eating that much meat can be harmful?

For the cow, for sure.

I don’t think anything I do is good for me.

Fair enough, I was legit interested in your view on that

Yeah, I am pretty at peace with my poor decisions. However, I also find the body is surprisingly adaptable.

But why do you think that it is?

I think your results with your cut and his direction were remarkable, and better than I could do. He knows more than I do, he’s stronger than I am, he’s accomplished more than I have.

None of this should be about things he’s earned himself. He’s just super insecure about people questioning anything or disagreeing with him.

I don’t think it is. I don’t have the knowledge or tools to establish whether meat is harmful, but I can base my beliefs upon the existing evidence—with a gram of salt, as it’s hardly an easy task to determine for sure whether a cause-effect relationship exists between two variables, despite there being a correlation.

Still, my observation stems from @T3hPwnisher having mentioned a consumption that is way higher than even the numbers taken into exam by studies that did find a correlation between red meat consumption after a certain threshold and increased risk of health problems.

That said, I do eat red meat too and probably more than the average person (like most gym goers), this was just for the sake of discussion.

Yeah at the moment each deadlift day has 100 reps with somewhere north of 60% 1RM.
PR at the moment is 10x10 in 10 minutes with 110kg which was heinous

Yeah that was kinda my point. I am a fan of his work and always read his content, so I thought it was disappointing that such a smart person had that kind of attitude.

Btw bud I texted you on WA a long time ago, you deleted your account?
