That may not be the case. I was on the 8 year mark when I moved to Australia 15 years ago and I literally stopped training overnight and had a 7 year break. I then spent 5 years doing long distance running before the call of the iron finally drew me back under the bar three years ago.
Went on call tonight. For dinner I had a whole large pizza, half of someone else’s pizza, and a couple random slices from other guys. Starting to see why I have tits and love handles…

I stumbled across a YouTube video “calling out” a formerly prolific writer for this site. It featured a heretofore unseen exercise. I think I can guess why I have not seen an article from this writer in a while…
The exercise?: quarter depth back squats, with a barbell, with a plate on ONE side of the bar; yes, only one side of the barbell was loaded.

My initial thoughts were (as are my current thoughts); it seems like a much less safe version of a suitcase carry.
I got a good laugh when I looked something up. Saw a guy talking about lack of volume in all power lifting programs. Mind you the guy was all about pure bodybuilding. I use that term loosely. Looked at his log and the amount of work in it was less than most guys do for assistance work. I call that talking out your ass.
