Yeah that’s the worstest
I once again wonder if this is unique to our hobby, or if this silliness is out there.
“Guys: I wasted my beginner guitar gains learning Stairway to Heaven. I WISH I had used it on Freebird.”
“Guys, I wasted my beginner Spanish gains on verb conjugation. I WISH I used it on vocabulary.”
For languages, if you didn’t learn it as a young kid, you technically did kind of “waste gains”
From what I’ve gathered, it probably also stems from the “natural limits” debates. So called “experts” were saying people normally peak in 5 years, with the fastest gainz occurring in the 1st year if they do everything right. People who were parroting this didn’t see the last part.
In my 1st year, I did EVERYTHING wrong except doing the squat bench and deadlift
This is about the age you start learning. It’s not the same.
It’s possible that you didn’t do everything wrong. Even if you did, unless you were trying to learn technically complex lifts like Cleans and Snatches before the age of 12 or younger, it won’t make any difference.
I hope not…
I promise you it won’t lol.
No need for a apology young lady.
Agree 100 percent. That’s been my view point for awhile.
I have always said that allot of those leading the witchhunt are just doing so to make their own mediocrity look more impressive.
Nope your safe. I view the person in question as a fucking twat. Just some novice who has Jack and shit for actual hands on experience. Who wants to pretend to be some authority on shit.
This guy sounds like a real…emperor.
To be fair, he does seem to be an authority on being shit.
I see what you did there. Your basing that off of?
No!
I do it to make my mediocrity more acceptable to myself.
I don’t presume to know what you feel about others, I just cannot stand the guy, and I saw a post from him not that long ago after a long hiatus. He’s a total dickbag though.
I would not call you a leader in the movement. Lol
I get the feeling that several feel that way regarding that individual from what I have seen.
You know what this “natty or not” stuff always sounds like to me? A couple of schoolgirls feeling insecure when they see a hot chick. She must look horrible without makeup. It’s plastic surgery. Are those breasts real? Are those hips real? Lip injections? Lipo? Botox? How much does she spend at the salon? She’s probably a bitch. Does she have a sugar daddy who buys her those nice clothes?
I don’t know if it’s fitting or ironic that guys who embrace a lifestyle of lifting weights and looking big and tough end up acting like a bunch of insecure schoolgirls when they see someone much bigger and stronger than them.
The cattiness in this hobby is ridiculous. Powerlifters complain about what other dudes are wearing, bodybuliders talk about plastic surgery, I just don’t get it.
I remember when the big strong dudes were supposed to be dumb jocks.
