That would be exactly what that means, yeah. But considering the jury is still out on the benefits of HGH, it wouldn’t matter.
But the words are stupid now too. What does “natty” even mean? I’ve never taken a steroid, but I’m on enough caffeine to kill a hummingbird. Not natty? Oh, but I take the caffeine AFTER I train, not before, so natty?
Wait, I have vaccines! Certainly not natty.
Based off the results I’ve seen of people who jumped into steroids at the wrong time, I’ve found this certainly isn’t true.

In all seriousness, the various “It’s not natural” arguments have always confused me. How much of our modern world is natural anymore?
Reason I love my wife number 1 - she puts up with me.
My wife is low maintenance. If I see her today it will be for maybe 10 minutes. But it’s cool. We got 364 other days to be happy. We don’t need 1 in particular to get all shoot about.

The only sensible response (from my perspective) would be: someone who has taken a substance which is on the WADA banned substances list. I guess you could make an argument that masking agents are okay because constipation should not lose you natty status ![]()
Interestingly, some substances on the WADA list are found in over the counter supplements, so potentially many of the natty for lifers are actually not natty.
There is also the in-competition stuff which includes cannabis and other recreational stuff. Potentially another trap for the natty lifers.
Worth noting: caffeine is not on the banned substances list so you can claim natty status under this system. But it once was. I’m just going to ignore the complexity that substances coming on/going off the WADA list adds to this system.
It just means you’re Natty Light™. Most people are Natty Light™, you’re only not natty when you use 3 or more drugs in 1 cycle

It’s what I’m getting at: the things we deem to be natural or not are arbitrary at this point. Lots of things are unnatural but regularly consumed and fine.
