The only true measure of a gym is when you’re more worried about the cold bar than the weight on the bar 
Here’s my shoes after working out in an AC gym (but still not as cold as I’d like it).
I’m all for pounding water and salt tabs during a comp but if I’m leaving salt lines from sweat on my shoes every workout I’m going to find a colder gym. Guess it all depends on what you’re used to.
So I don’t usually have too much time to browse on here but tonight was different. Now I remember why I just stick to a few training logs it like minded individuals. Just when you think the world can’t get any dumber !!!

I was all dressed and ready to work out, but then I blew that off to go shopping. But now I’m all dressed and ready to go shopping and here I sit, basically doing nothing because I’m too lazy to go get in the car.
My big plan for the day was to get up early and work out, shop, do yard work, then prep food for the week. I’m not making a strong start on the agenda.

Well, the water didn’t happen until I was on the way back from shopping. The diet coke and buffalo chicken wrap I had after posting and before managing to haul myself into the Jeep may have been the magic, making this perhaps part of the grand solution:

I raked a little, then decided things are still too wintery although today is a very nice day and there’s no reason not to do it. I’m cooking and thinking about a movie and maybe a glass of wine.
I confess, I’m pretty content with my lack of progress. I’m working out extra tomorrow, though.
Just think of it as carbloading for life. You never know when you’re gonna need those glycogen stores.
