I’ve also heard this called a mechanical dropset, and yes they are wonderful. I do them on my GHD: I have several bands ready to go, and then I start with BW to technical failure → add 1 band, technical failure → add 1 more band… until my hamstrings are toasted.
Ooh smart. I don’t have a GHD so something I’ve started doing is Nordics → Slider Leg Curls → Back extensions. That wrecks my hammies
That’s a good one! Slider leg curls are deceptive; they look so innocent and easy but they burn.
Another finisher I like makes use of my drag sled (a tire with boards, a floor flange, and a steel pipe): I load it with 2 100-lb plates, drag 20 m → unload the plates, carry back for 20 m → carry 1 plate back to tire, load → drag back 20 m. That’s 1 rep. I repeat this until I can’t.
I like rotating leg curl/leg press/leg extension, I like to hit the press three times. So, I’d go in a pendulum, curl → press → extension → press → curl,…
I probably go to failure too often while doing it but it’s “fun”
Having grown up on these games (and remembering the outrage about them), every 5 years or so I like to have a look at what the latest version of Mortal Kombat has trotted out, it can raise an eyebrow - latest version is not so violent lol
Whenever I try do a handstand push-up or pistol squat I fall on either my head or my ass often both. 200? LOL That’s over a lifetime right?

I don’t often find use for the word “gratuitous”. Mortal Kombat is easily my favourite 1-on-1 fighting game series. Tekken is good too though.

There should be a rep style modifier to CF workouts. The “I don’t use the exercise relying mostly on my tendons” option.
I will say this though, when the top athletes do a lot of these exercises it doesn’t look harmful. But when the majority of people attempt to do it CF style it looks like things will go popping in all directions.
That 19 yo girl was bleeding from both hands and still finished the even and did pretty well. She’s going to be a freak here in the next year or 2 that’s if Toomey let’s her.
