Aminos being taken separately don’t provide a help, as if the minerals are already for example in a carbonate or oxide form, they already have these unfavorable bonds and having aminos in the GI tract unfortunately won’t change that.

The issue I see to be taken with multis is absorption/bioavailability. Can combining so many different things into a single capsule still allow you a decent absorption level, or do you just melt it down and piss it out?[/quote]
Its why i take the Men’s Vitamin Code Multi that you guys carry. Best one in my eyes.
I might try the Vitamin Code next, I’m on Alive now. Any particular reason you like the Vit Code akuma? I love their shit cause its so easy to spot when I’m restocking lol, nice big shiny boxes.
Also, just wanted to thank Bill for being so forthcoming with everything he knows, answering all our neanderthal questions lol
Glad to be of help! ![]()

simple, its a 4 a day. They dont pack an assload of stuff into 1 pill that you will simply piss out. very easy to split up, can down 1 or 2 with a meal and retain it.

I have used Source Naturals Life Force Multiple, carried at Vitamin Shoppe (which is actually where I buy it), for a few years now, and I see no reason to change. It is consistently regarded as a very good multi, and a daily dose (3 pills) can be spread throughout the day.
Also, pretty crazy to see what scores some of the “name” vitamins (like Centrum) get.

Some good explanantions there Bill, even for those of us who haven’t studied science for over 10 years…
I’m glad of anything being made clearer!

Keeping the thread (and mindtap) going, obviously things like your EFAs and a few vitamins are always a huge help, but is there anything you see either getting undue acclaim or in need of acclaim? For instance, everyone loves their antioxidants, nobody knows why - but there are loads of unsung minerals.

Page 6 of that report says 8 pills is the daily dose of your vitamin. Why do you say only 3?

I’m a little thrown off because the actual label on the bottle says Life Force Multiple is a 2 a day, rofl. Which formulation are you using?
Read this last night. The book is Military Fitness by Nathanael J. Morrison. Don’t agree with everything he says, but I do with a lot of it, especially depending on your goals. He has this to say about multivitamins though.
'If there is one supplement as bad or worse than protein powders it is vitamins. Vitamins are the epitome of crap and junk science. Multi vitamins are full of elements that your body cannot process. The tablets of many brand name vitamins do not even break down and you defecate the entire pill unknowingly! Those that do break down contain the wrong substances or in quantities that are less than useful. This are requires intensive study to determine what is good and what isn’t.
A few examples are Vitamin A, B12, D, C, and E. Vitamin A in the form of beta ceratine cannot be absorbed without fat. Additionally, synthetic Vitamin A is shown to have toxicity although in absolutely obscene doses that no would one ever consume. However, this is not the case with Vitamin A derived from animal sources such as Cod Liver Oil. In fact, Vitamin A from Cod Liver Oil is downright potent, especially when combined with Vitamin D from Cod Liver Oil. Synthetic Vitamin D is very bad for you and must be avoided. Vitamin B12 comes in many forms in the store. However, only Methlycobalamine is readily absorbed into the body. The rest are not.
Even so, the only form of B12 that is truly useful is the injected form. Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid is mildly interesting but doesn’t do a whole lot of good and research is showing that it just might do some harm rather than good. On the other hand, whole food sources such as the Camu Camu Berry are highly potent and effective, IF found in a minimally processed state. Finally, Vitamin E is essintially a super vitamin, but ONLY when you have a natural sourced supplement containing all EIGHT compounds! Over 99% of Vitamin E supplements contain only d-Alpha Tocopherol. There are three more tocopherols and four more tocotrienols that make this vitamin complete. Without them you are wasting your money.
The very best vitamins I have found in the categories are from:

thesynergycompany.com

I was just looking at that multivitamin guide that you linked to. On page 6 it has a table of the top vitamins in the study and their daily dosage. It lists Life Force as 8/day. It lists most of the others as at least 8/day as well, so maybe it’s off. I was debating between Life Force and Ultra Preventative X, and ordered the latter so we’ll see what it’s dosage is when it arrives.
