What MultiVitamin Do You Take

Well I finally ran out of the Long’s brand multi vitamin that I’ve been taking for about a year. I had quite a supply built up. Now I am ready to purchase another vitamin and since starting my health kick 14 months ago I have read so much on this awesome site that I can no longer just use any old vitamin… So I am curious what everyone here is taking. So let me know everybody…

Thanks

I’m not taking a multi-, instead I take 1-2 Vitamin C tablets, a B-Complex, and some ZMA from this site. I’m also curious to see what other people take, since I know most of the brands out there use the same old formula.

I take a Multi from GNC

I’m similar to this in that I take the specific vitamins and minerals that I want at any moment and don’t rely on some shotgun formulation containing stuff I don’t want or need.

I also use a greens product daily.

Animal Pak

Centrum Mens 1 a day.

Just started taking a liquid multi called glacial milk that I got from Sams Club. It’s the only multi I’ve even taken where I can actually tell a difference.

I take AST Multi Pro 32X and I’ve been enjoying them so far, but I’m open to suggestions from more experienced members just like the OP.

Orange Triad.

Vitamin Shoppe’s brand.

I took Multi+ by Genuine Health until the bottle ran out.

I was impressed, because I’d put a pill in a glass of water and stir it and watch the pill dissolve within a few minutes. Very nice.

You did need to take 4 pills a day (it was exactly a 30 day supply), but I take it the lower dose of each pill meant greater efficacy per pill.

I’d still recommend it, especially given that, with a balanced diet, most multis pack too much stuff anyway.

Once Biotest releases their greens product there shouldn’t be a need to buy the tablets. Using a quality greens powder and eating a fair portion of vegetables is IMO far superior to taking a multi-tablet. Again, this is just my opinion as the onslaught by the offended tablet swallowers is sure to proceed.

I take “Ola Loa”. It’s kind of expensive $32/month but it’s in individual packets that you dissolve in water, so you just drink it once or twice a day. I also take additional Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin E and Mangesium.

I forgot to add:

I am currently taking the Emer’C brand of multivitamin, so it is an effervescent pack and I tend to include it in my morning shake with protein and frozen berries, enzymes, probiotics and greens supplement.

I like it.

I used to. Then I read a consumer report on bad multivitamins and decided to put one cap in a glass of water. It didn’t show any sign of dissolving for an hour! Now I stick with One-A-Day, Men’s Forumula, taken twice a day I also take additional C, E, and K vitamins.

Oh wow. Can you give me a link to this consumer report so I can see the logic behind the test (or, if you can, can you tell me?) I’m assuming the rate at which it dissolves is related to its digestion in the stomach, no?
