I’d rather not give you further inspiration to…unhinge your jaw.

Interesting tidbit- The sounds of the 1970 Dodge Challenger in certain scenes are actually from the 1968 Mustang in Bullitt :oO

Lol…Yes, it’s funny though to look back on how gratuitous and amusing those scenes are from a ‘now’ point of view…although at that time, it was serious business. Especially for a youngster. Granted I didn’t see the film until the ‘now-ish’ point of view. That’s why I’m curious to see how they have remade it.

The ass on the bike is Gilda Texter, and I was surprised to see that she was actually a costume supervisor (naked irony lol) for the movie ‘Where the Buffalo Roam’…which is a favorite of mine and was essentially remade and labeled ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’. Where the Buffalo Roam however starred Bill Murray as Hunter S. Thompson and Peter Boyle (fine actor may he rest in peace) as Lazlo. Not to mention the soundtrack has Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Hendrix. I loved it.

Has anybody seen the '97 remake of Vanishing Point?

From your obvious need for a penis extension, I doubt there would be any need for that.

Eh? Go home Grandpa… you’re drunk.

What is it with chicks and muscle cars. My wife would cream over this car.

So, my car lease comes up in May…and I currently drive an economical Honda Civic (I used to have an Audi A4 which I unloaded just before the electrical system caved) …Anyway, I have found myself completely in love with the new Dodge Challengers. Okay maybe its lust, …because I know its going to be all wrong for my pocket book…but I want to touch it anyway. In the worst possible way. Well, it may not end up happening…but its the car thats burning through my dreams, just on the edge of possibility…far away in the vanishing point.

Saw this car the year it released at the Detroit auto show also went and saw the new Camaro concept when it came out. Both are super nice, both exterior and attention to detail in interior i personally already have a mopar car in the garage, 73 cuda’ (not a hemi :frowning: ) so i think i’ll definitely be investing in the new Camaro SS. This seems like its mostly american car guys but has anyone checked out the specs on the new Skyline GTR nissans releasing? looks INSANE to say the least[/quote]

i like, high five! that GTR looks sick. sadly, i think its going to end up having a price tag of around $70,000 or more. ridiculous horsepower and torque. unmatched technology…the thing is basically a supercar, and i expect it to blow anything in its price range away. simply put, i WANT one, but even if i could afford the payments, i doubt i could afford it once insurance is tacked on.

I’ve seen the GTR, and it is an absolutely amazing car… but the new corvette Z06 is around 70,xxx bucks, too, isnt it? I’m not so sure it’d be blown away by the GTR, if even beat.

I’m just wondering, though… I cant think of the numbers off the top of my head.

…The new Z06 is a fucking phenomenal muscle car, too.

my friend…google the 2009 corvette ZR1. hopefully they actually make this. stock, itll rape the GT-R on most accounts.

funnily enough, i was just thinking about the corvette yesterday. the thought came to me that i would most likely never have a ferrari or something along those lines, because that usually takes a ridiculous amount of income from some kind of hollywood/or wall street-style life, neither of which im going after. but, i could easily afford a corvette later in life, for my mid-life crisis. i came to the conclusion that corvettes make plenty of power, are tons of fun to drive, and look awesome. and i dont want the convertible, i want a black on black hardtop.
