Your Dream Car?

SLR Mclaren for me.

This Hamann tuned one makes me drool uncontrollably:

Audi RS4. Not the fastest car in the world, not the coolest car in the world, but it does what it’s supposed to do very well. Combine that with the fact that it’s kind of a rarity in it’s class since everyone else buys a M3.

Something nuclear powered, maybe anti-matter or dark matter. Perhaps a perpetual motion device.

Sooo…something German.

Lamborghini Reventon

Ferrari F50

I’m partial to Italian makes

69 Camaro

Zonda F for me. It has been my dream car forever. Koenigsegg CCX, Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari F50/40 are all close runner-ups.

Aston Martin Vanquish.

That Hammann SLR and Lamborghini Reventon are two of the sexiest inanimate things I’ve ever seen.

I wonder how hard these cars are to drive around town. I saw a Carrera GT in San Fransisco last week and the engine screamed down the block, even though it accelerated slow and was doing about 20mph, tops. Imagine that clutch going uphill? Damn.

Buick Grand National

Either a '67 Chev Impala or a '74 HQ Holden Monaro

I don’t really care about the nationality.

09’ Nissan GT-R

The only production car I would buy without thinking it needs modifications.

Good choice, but I’d say the Pagani Zonda (C-12 Spider) for me.

Runner-ups: McLaren F1, Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Murcielago.

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Eleanor custom painted.

And that 2009 Nissan GTR looks amazing…

Porsche Carrera GT.

GT3; black.

Because I think Ferraris are overrated…

1967 Shelby GT 350 in Wimbledon White with the blue stripes…I’ve loved this car for over half my life.

By the way, for you “modern” car guys, I saw a Lotus Exige on my way into work today. My dad’s always been a Lotus guy.
