I got back from Florida at 6:30 this morning, went to bed, woke up at 11, and then did this workout. Not too shabby for complete lack of sleep.

1 mile warmup + sprint drills + strides
600m(1:40), 400m(62), 200m(29), 200m(29), 400m(59), 600m(1:43), 3:00 rest between reps

Gotta remember the socks next time.

So this weekend I’m not racing, but will have a hell of a workout on Friday. Next weekend is our home outdoor meet, and I’ll be doing 1500m, 5000m and 4x400m. The weekend after is 800m and 4x400m. I’m straying away from the 800m temporarily because I raced it so much indoors that I needed some time away from it, and we have a guy who ran 1:57 at our last meet and should easily beat me if we raced each other.

Ran in the direct sun for the entire run. Felt pretty dead afterwards even though it was an easy pace. Then I went and slept for a little over 10 hours.
