The forums are mainly a couple dozen regulars posting every day, with random posters coming in, asking a dumb ass question and get flamed into submission, never to be seen again

Pretty much the state of most forums these days. Social media has made this a bit of a dying medium. I still prefer it, but understand that I appear to be the exception that way.
Although, regarding the injuries subsection, I’ve stopped going there because it tends to be populated with people creating an account just to make 1 post and then never come back to reply to any questions asked.

I don’t recall when I joined, been here more than a decade for sure. Never been a huge poster, but I end up just lurking for long periods. Have definitely seen a drop off in activity across the board. Used to be, you’d read a thread one day, come back the next and have to dig to find it due to the amount of overall activity and new threads popping up. Kinda miss it.
What did happen to BBB? I gather he got banned, just curious what the story was.

the new forum layout was the reason I left. I come back once and a while for a workout suggestion in the articles, but that’s it. Maybe once every six-nine months.

Amen, there are a few more I have in mind I just cannot accurately remember their screen names. Dr.Matt was a favorite of mine, but after he moved to Finland he dropped out.

So many have left, but I’ll admit that I’ve been fortunate that a good number I respect found my on social media and we still stay in contact… but I guess that’s the real culprit whenever anyone discusses forum traffic, the rise of social media.

Been on the Combat Forum since 2006. Lost a lot of knowledgeable talent over there,its a shame. I don’t have a FaceBook account for two reasons: First, I am not allowed to have one and second, it is the greatest intelligence tool ever created. Every Intelligence agency in the world monitors FB. 85% of the badguys we are looking for, eventually give in to some stupid post or picture. LoL.

Oh remember the good ole days of ProX back shots minus half his back (the love handly bits) or the ones in deep shadow with the curtains drawn lol Who was the guy that did a homage to the shadow pictures? He recreated the whole scene and was pretty serious about it…That cracked me up big time!
