maybe bane will look like this after the venom
There is no venom

There is…in a sense. This is movie formula venom vs. the comic book version.

The part where Batman turns around and Bane is standing on the walkway just looks epic.

indeed. I believe this could be better than dark knight for me due to bane alone.
I have never been more excited for a movie than I am for this.
I am so excited for the Nolan/Hardy interpretation of Bane. Even though he isn’t 500 lbs, clearly Hardy’s Bane still has the ability to beat the shit out of Batman with just pure violence and toughness, something we haven’t seen from any of the villains in the Nolan universe. The character feels like a diabolical Bond villain, who is physically tough as nails, and has a good deal of crazy thrown in.
This movie is going to be awesome, Christopher Nolan wouldn’t have made the movie if he didn’t have faith in his story.

x2
I can’t imagine this movie being anything other than completely amazing.
I am way to excited for this. Still wish the villian was the penguin guy from one of the older movies.
It looks like Nolan is really trying to outdo himself on this one, and Bane is a whole new type of polarity for Batman to deal with.
This is gonna be good.

Seriously? Chester fucking Cobblepot over Bane? That’s nuts dude.

‘‘Tom Hardy as… Chester Cobblepot.’’
But lets be honest, he’d still be fucking awesome.
I have no reason not to trust Nolan fully to deliver an epic. I’m still iffy about Catwoman(something to do with Harley Quinn may have been a bit better?) but I have faith he’ll make it work.
I applied for the 20th of July off work for the laugh, didn’t think I’d get it but I did!
The movie run time is 2 hours 45 minutes.

I wasn’t sure about Catwoman either, but they have room for a female character after Rachel Dawes stepped outside for fresh air. It was Jonathan Nolan who persuaded Chris Nolan to include Catwoman. My only reservation is that Nolan’s female characters seem incidental in what are normally male-centric movies.
Catwoman is renowned as a strong female character so maybe they’re trying to recify that.

Anne Hathaway is not going to ham up the whole “cat” thing like Michelle Pfeiffer did with the purring and meowing and all that other bullshit. It will work.
If I hear the word “PUUUUUURRRRRRRRRFECT” one time I might burn down the movie theater though.

For me, Hathaway herself is the weak link. I’ve no doubt that Goyer and Nolan can write a great Catwoman, I’m just not convinced that Hathaway can convey that writing.
[spoilers]
I hear that they only refer to her as Selina Kyle in the movie [/spoilers]
just pre-ordered my tickets in D-BOX motion!

Y’see…I don’t think that’s a good thing.
I swear that a good Batman story can be told in less time than that.

The Dark Knight was 2.5 hours. Batman Begins was 2 hours 20 min.
So I guess you’re technically right…

The Dark Knight was borderline too long, so this seems like it’s the appropriate length being 10 minutes shorter.
