Warm-ups, jump rope, yoga stuff, shoulder stuff
SGHP these are for warmup and activation of upper body
8 x 40 kg, 45 kg, 50 kg + 5 x 60 kg.
Bench work sets all paused for a 2-3 count (or at least it felt like that)
BPA x 10 SS between
55 x 5
62,5 x 4
70 x 3
77,5 x 2
85 kg x 1 (new TM for the next cycle)
Back off (trying a Paul Carter thing, which I will be doing Monday)
50 kg x 8
50 kg x 5
50 kg x 3
All sets with a long pause 3-5 sec.
BB Row
3 x 8 x 40 kg
BB curl Paul Carter style 350 set
Bar x 20, 15, 12
Lat raise 350 set
5 kg x 20, 15, 12
Bench the weight felt a bit heavy, but moved well enough. The back offs was very good.
Trying something new was fun.
Next cycle Iām going to put some more volume in it, see if I can put on some mass.
Will up calorie intake even more I guess. Might go for 3000 cal. Nice round number.

Todays training
5/3/1 7th week deload
Warm-ups: lazy lifter, standing long jumps + vertical jumps
Powerclean + push pres
3 x 40, 45, 50 kg 1 x 55, 60 kg 132 lbs
Feeling good, strong and fast on these.
Deadlift working on technique
3 x 70, 80, 90, 100, 100, 100 kg ā 220 lbs
Those felt very good, a bit higher hips, vertical shins, all flew up.
Shoulder a bit in front of the bar. Still have to figure that out.
Bracing, have to work on that.
Squats Technique again
3 x Bar, 40, 60, 60, 60 (1 plate)
Very good too, was able to get somewhere below parallel, without any problem.
Shins not that far ahead, knees out. Bracing still a long way.
This last week of deload has been good to me. Feeling fresh again.
Ready to put on some mass or maybe a pound or two if Iām lucky.
Did a ālongā steady and slow run before lifting 2,5 km in 13 min 10 sec.
I would say some of the way I felt comfortable.
A good deload is like magic. Bam, hungry for the weights again!

Yeah some things were not going my way then, thanks for checking that out. l will likely compete in early June. I donāt know yet because events arenāt out and registration isnāt possible yet. I hope there wonāt be a deadlift event, haha.
