I don’t ever want to burst someones bubble, but you said in another thread you want to attain your goals natural, and while your short(I don’t think they are that short term) goals are certainly attainable the long term ones are out of this world. I just don’t want you down on yourself if you are 5 years down the road walking around with lean 19 inch arms and you can’t get 22s.
I know exactly what you’re saying, and see where you’re coming from. I might sound totally crazy, but I know with all my heart that I’m going to be able to do those things, I’ve known for years.
I have made goals in the past that didn’t hold true, and it was dissapointing, but it added fuel to my fire, and extra motivation to reavaluate my training and to continue training. My short term goals, are goals that I want to hit by next year 2009.
Long term are more or less when I’m in my prime 30’s. I’m a teenager and I’ve come to realize bodybuilding and strength training are my calling. It gives my purpose cause I’m good at it compared to the majority of my peers. I have my whole life ahead of me and I plan on utilizing a good amount of that time in attaining those goals.

After that crazy routine I tried last month I think I gained about a 1/4inch on biceps. I deffinately overtrained them, but when i rested up my biceps just seem fuller now. Either that, or switching to some basic bicep training helped me out.

I did some hammer curls yesterday.
I had “It’s Hammer Time” playing in my head the whole time.
Just wanted to share!

I don’t honestly remember the last time I did curls, I guess I am not a real man… but out of curiosity , what are Zottman curls?
they’re the godmaker of biceps.
Today
BB curl - 100 x 9
Reverse curl - 80 x 12
I fucking love curls, and girls.
I did some sets of dumbbell ‘pinwheel curls’ today for the first time ever.
I just read about them in a thread or article here recently so I threw 'em in.
I likey!
adding isometrics to the end of my scott curls has given me more growth than the curls themselves, i think

But yeah, those are one cool exercise…
I’ve posted the vid twice already, but it never gets old:
CC-- Yeah, that’s the one! Insane…
Man, I thought I was cool for doing the 80lbers.
about 2:40 in this video old sweedish discus thrower repping out around 300lbs with barbell curls then just tosses it, awesome.
Been doing barbell curls with thick bar now and I love it! One of my favorite exercises to do, my forearms get an insane workout a long with of course my biceps.
Ricky Bruch is a legend.

Lol, just wait till those “Oh, but branch warren is a real meathead for throwing the bar!”(even though it was his training partner)-people see this vid… They’re going to make this thread 90 pages long with angry comments about how important form is ![]()
