I am SO GLAD that you have shown interest in Hathor. First of all, Hathor is an ancient Egyptian God. I attended an Egyptian expo a few years back and I ran across a ring of Hathor. I would have loved to have that ring.
Anyways, Hathor is an inclusive God. Hathor teaches that people do not necessarily have to believe in Hathor to be accepted. There are no Hathor Inquisitions. Hathor’s disciples do not try to foist their views on other people. Hathor’s disciples will never ask for money for their own aggrandizement. We, the children of Hathor, believe that one must act equitably to our fellow man. It is not enough to preach goodness and justice. We believe that you must live these virtues. Like the Quakers, Hathor teaches that calm, silent reflection is the best way to reach both Hathor and inner peace. We believe that strength comes from both the flesh and milk of the bovine. We do not employ fasting. We eat, drink and grow strong. Hathor teaches balance. One must show fidelity to one’s family and honor one’s promises. Hathor also places a premium on everyone participating in life’s circle. Hathor states that we all have a role to play. We are all interdependent.
