I was going to post something similar once I finished reading the post, but what the hell.
The West, Alberta & British Columbia have all the money, the best pot, all the oil and the greatest land scape. Let’s seperate! Saskatchewen can come along but they have to be quiet.
Take me with!
I’ve lived in Toronto pretty much my whole life, I want to get out!
Absolutely, all lifters are invited! Then we can be the strongest as well!
Stay the Hell away from Victoria, BC. We have enough people crowding up our gyms, eating all of our Pacific Salmon, devouring up all the beautiful sunshine. Keep Out! Besides we have the 2010 Winter Olympics, who needs Pan-Am games anyways. We need another 10 Billion Deficit to rev up this slow moving province and give the scum sucking Politicos something to brag about.

Sorry man I won’t say what I do but I will say don’t teach.
Alright fair enough. Do you go to the gym there? I’ll see you around maybe and not say hello
You other Ottawa folks, where do you guys workout?
I used to go to Algoinquin’s gym, but it’s frustrating how packed it gets.
Any good West end gym recommendations?

Victoria is my favorite place in Canada, easily.
Haven’t been there in years. What are the housing/condo prices like these days? Still through the roof?

Actually no I have never trained in the Zone. The idea of training in a giant fishbowl I just don’t get it. In the region I have trained at white oaks and the Y in Welland but now I train at home and on a farm.

The place I work at has it’s own gym for employees. Not the greatest place ever but it has dumbbells and a powercage with olympic barbell that nobody else uses so it works for me.

I learned two things about Scarborough. Don’t go there, and don’t date girls from there.
Born in the Hammer and lived my whole life in Burlington, however I’m up in Ottawa for school right now.
Rattler, are you talking about the Dave in Hamilton, because while that rink is old, it’s a great bowl and not a terrible atmosphere (but that might be because the last time I was there Gordie Howe dropped the puck haha)

I dunno what it was called. I know the Hamilton Red Wings played out of there. I also know, we always used to beat them ![]()
Honestly though, it was a fairly decent place. It just needed somewhat of a touch up.

Yes Pimpbot, it is nice here, housing prices are still through the roof. Everyone east of BC, it seems like retires here. However, I also loved Kyoto when I was in Japan, absolutely a great place to visit, we took the Shinkansen(Bullet Train) I believe it was called, a real eye opener. I would love to go back if it wasn’t for such a long flight. I don’t do airplanes well

If you’re in Kanata with a car, the Y at Scotia bank place is good. They have a cage, and a dedicated deadlift / pl area. No bumpers though.

A fellow Victoria, who would have though. Club Phoenix is my gym haunt.
Originally from Scarborough, work in downtown Toronto & now live in Etobicoke.
Scarborough wasn’t/isn’t so bad - grew up there - the body armour thing only works if it’s work-related. Still some nice gated communities if you look hard enough.

Ah Yes, you will see my wife there, after 20 years of Fitness World I have upgraded to Bala right across the bridge, but be warned stay away!!!
Ya that’s the rink, I’m pretty sure they fixed the place up, but it was after my time, they closed it down and did a big reno, I hear it turned out well, but I haven’t been back
