Expecting is a strong word. I always help with laundry more because I’m particular about how I like my clothes folded. But yeah I was folding between sets :man_facepalming:

Appreciate it brother. I really learned the stay positive lesson when my wife was going through cancer treatment… chemo, radiation, surgery etc. it was like this epiphany moment where I realized that we choose to be miserable about our situation or we could choose joy. Once you realize that… it’s a no brainer. Joy is way more fun!

Woke 172.2
Pushed it a little hard yesterday with a 13hr work day and a 90 minute training session and payed the price with a really swole. Leg last night that has carried over a little this morning. Icing and elevating right now and hopefully it’ll settle down.

On a positive note it seems to have calmed down a bit throughout the night. I’ve been sleeping a little better and feeling more rested.

In attempts to have this bulk be as effective as possible I’ll be training only 4 days a week and doing light 20 minute cardio sessions most days. Weight was up around a lb today. I’m trying to eat really clean but man that makes for giant quantities of food. Here was yesterday’s grub:

Breakfast 7:00 am
2 eggs, 1/2 cup whites, 1 cup oats measured dry

2nd breakfast 10:00 am
8oz fat free cottage cheese, 4 strawberries, 6,blackberries, 1/4 cup grape nuts, 1 peanut butter chocolate kind bar

Intraworkout
1 scoop whey and water

Lunch 1:00 pm
6oz white rice, 3 oz taco meat, 3 oz chicken, 1 oz shredded cheese, 1/2 avacado

Lunch 2 4:45 pm
8 oz white rice, 8 oz chicken, 1/2 avocado, 2 oz zucchini, 2 oz green beans

Snack 7:30 pm
Almonds, cashews, raisins (about 3 oz I’d say)

Dinner 9:00 pm
8 oz white rice, 8 oz chicken, 1 oz shredded cheese, 2 oz zucchini, 2 oz green beans

Probably about a gallon of water. Was absolutely stuffed all day and was a whopping total of like 3100 calories and like 245p, 317c, 103f. Going forward I’ll try to up the carbs a little and lower the protein a tad. Probably something like 200/400/100 I’m thinking.

Today’s a rest day so no training other than 20 minutes on the bike

Out of interest: if you’re bulking and know its going to be a huge quantity of food, why the cardio? Is it just to maintain a level of cv fitness, or does it help the bulking some how?

Well it’s two fold. Gotta be on the bike daily for knee rehab, and since I’m taking taking a few PEDs maintaining good heart health is imperative.

Lol the UK version is much more likely because at some point I need to go there to visit family.
